“So today we went for the first time. We live in Cleveland so it was a little drive but worth it We go to all these bins. Some are a waste of time So today was stock day and that’s the day you get all the good stuff in my opinion ( today the bins are $15.00 We got 2 fans Both in the boxes and appeared to not have even been used. Still in the wrapping with the owners manual These are big fill size fans.. well worth $15 Then we got a electric blender.. Again in the original box all wrapped up. Appears to not have been used. It’s a full size blender with a glass pitcher I got an electric kettle. Again looks to have never been used. They had so many things that we did not get. Rice cookers, crock pot, electric grill.. You’re going to need to go on a Friday the day they stock to get the better stuff. Early as possible But well worth it”

“Stopped in today and just felt like I needed to take the time to mention the associate taking care of the store today. Her name was Ellie and she had exceptional customer service, which is hard to come by. Talked to her about seeing my nieces and all the stuff I bought them and she was just great. She made conversation, and just made me feel like I was talking to a friend. In this day and age, this customer service is very hard to come by. Very good hire, I am speechless. She deserves a promotion. I’d go back there solely because of her!”

  7. Dollar Tree - 1038 E Tallmadge Ave

    1038 E Tallmadge Ave, Akron OH 44310

    4.3 Superb 108 reviews

“This is really a nice store!! Unlike a couple of other Dollar Tree stores which I have shopped in, it is VERY clean. The shelves were well stocked and orderly. Aisles were not cluttered, again not like some of the other Dollar Tree stores in this town. It appears larger and has many items not found in other Dollar Tree stores, like a large selection of paint brushes and paint rollers. Although it's distance is a bit farther away than the closest Dollar Tree store to me, I definitely will again shop at this store again!”

    4.2 Good 150 reviews

“When I can find what I want there, it's a great place, except the prices are really not that competitive. Their inventory feels a little random obviously because it's a closeout store but that kind of makes it really hard to shop for things that you want and again the prices can be a little bit not what I would consider closeout prices considering there is a Marc's store right next door to them that basically does close out stuff as well at lower prices, and there's a Dollar Tree in the same plaza with really low prices.”

“I went out of my way to go to this Dollar Tree to see what it would be like. It’s about 20 mins from me, but I might make the trip every time because it was awesome! The store is so neat and organized, I easily found everything I needed. The staff was helpful. There was a young, male cashier (I feel so bad I didn’t catch his name) who was very kind to me about my toddler accidentally breaking something in the store. Overall, it was such a good experience.”

“That might have been the nicest pharmacist I have ever delt with. I’m sad I didn’t catch her name but she had glasses and brown hair. She was so sweet and actually cared about what was going on. It really is the little things. I told her I was from out of town and that I would be driving home so I wouldn’t get anyone I was visiting sick. She realized moments later after I had left that my prescription would make me drowsy. She called me after the exchange and made sure to alert me before driving out of town! I really appreciated that!”

Every single one of them are kind and show up to do their job. They've worked hard to get the store back to what it used to be and I couldn't be happier. I just wish I was able to find an updated phone number on the internet somewhere. What's up with that?”

  31. MoneyGram - 3732 Darrow Rd

3732 Darrow Rd, Stow OH 44224

    4 Good 6 reviews

“Kudos to the management/employees who immediately responded to my concern about an unmasked shopper, who belligerently told me she didn’t need a (mandated by the governor) mask because she was a DOCTOR! The young man in produce left his station at once, to return with a young lady from customer service, who explained in no uncertain terms that this was a business and masks were required. She stood her ground, and repeated TWICE, “Please don’t come any closer”, as the unmasked shopper approached her. The shopper then abandoned her cart, and stated loudly that she would never shop there again as she stormed off. Instead of leaving, however, she went to the customer service desk, where she was very vocal in her complaints. I didn’t see the final outcome, but I’m sure she was reminded that masks were mandatory........ Marc’s will continue to have my business as long as they follow the governor’s mandates, and keep the employees who uphold them. I was impressed with their response today.”
