“I love this place, but the produce department always has SO MUCH MOLDY FRUIT. I put SOME of the boxes i found filled with mold on top of the counter to show! Still love the rest of the store, oh but if you want catering-good luck, they aren't organized, helpful, or knowledgeable in any way, they didn't have any serving spoons, forks, clips, pie cutter, no bags to put anything in, so they put my order in dirty smashed cardboard boxes, they were dragging their feet literally so slow. He also couldn't find the thing to scan for my order for about 17 minutes. Maybe cater somewhere else! But if you're looking for regular groceries and products go here it's great for that! Lol”
“Only adding here because nowhere in the app that I see can you report something like this. The feedback goes to a survey that doesn’t work when you click it, the help center didn’t help, and the past orders just want you to add to cart and place a new order. I absolutely love Aldi and have never had this happen - we buy these pickles almost weekly. Today, though, the entire bottom came off the pickles and soaked through my trunk carpet, got all over the fruit it was with, and made a mess of my kitchen floor. Just wanted to let you all know Incase these are faulty containers ?”
“I love this store. It is clean and well stocked. Customer service is efficient and friendly. It is well managed, with manager often interacting with customers. Its reward program works for me. I dont get gas here, I choose to use my perks mainly for food--As gas is cheaper at BJs wholesale club. You have to check meat tho. Sometimes the expiration is that day. Yikes. Deducting one star for that and gas program.”

“To whom it may concern, my name is Autumn and I was broken down physically and mentally at your new Albany location yesterday, 5-18-2024, from about 4:30-10pm. The manager on duty, one of the cashiers named Steve, and two or three additional employees came and asked me if I was okay. Additionally, they repeatedly came outside during my time there to check on me, brought me water, and basically consoled me because I could not get myself together . It was so hot and I’m sure that was a factor in my breakdown. The MOD brought me a bag of ice and told me to stay cool and keep it on my wrist and neck to regulate my body temp. I couldn’t have asked for anything else at all and I personally feel like they deserve some recognition for their level or care and attentiveness to me and my situation. This crew is absolutely what saved my life to be honest yesterday. I was in a very bad place mentally and they were there to talk me down every single minute. I owe the crew that night my life and most importantly my respect and gratitude for their kindness and empathy.”
“Decent store, especially if you have flexibility to shop the store circular. I certainly, by far, prefer "The Eagle" to Meijers, but then I'm a Pittsburgh girl. I miss the $5 Friday donuts, but I've made the sacrifice to head over to Krogers $5 Friday donuts or, better yet, Costco's almond Danish. This Giant Eagle store is clean and well stocked with friendly employees. It is on the way for us and is much larger than our very small, former Big Bear store, closest to us. My biggest complaint is not something under the store's control. My GPS directs me TO the store, but leaving is impossible. I want Reynoldsburg New Albany Road. The GPS wants to put me on 161. That's out of the way. So I shut down the GPS and tried to retrace by steps and was frustrated when at a choice point, all the signs had some form of "New Albany E,N,W,S" in them. I was so confused, I thought I was in Pittsburgh! Bring your own bags. It's a good habit to get into. And it is slightly pricey, but your stuff lasts longer, so I think it's a wash. Cheap stores aren't so cheap when you have to throw things out because they have spoiled or have no taste.”
“We started coming to this Kroger in March when the Pandemic was in full swing. It's 3 miles from our home and our other Kroger is only a mile away from the house; still, we make the weekly short trek to New Albany as this store is better stocked than the other one so it became out tried and true go-to store. Plus, it's on the way to our doggie day care we have more than one stop and it is between our home and where my parents reside in their assisted living in Granville so it became our stop for them since July. Great, great, great consistent staff. Very friendly. Very professional and fun despite this awful time in our country. I will admit when this store was undergoing renovations about a year or so ago, I hate it. There was absolutely no method to the madness where items were temporarily placed. Thank God we hung in there. Now we use both Krogers close to the house. This one for our weekly stop and the other as it has a liquor store inside when we need fresh bottles for our home bar! :)”
