Grocery Stores
“This place is great and does well because of the people working and associated with it! We called regarding having some things prepared for a birthday party and they were always willing to answer questions and help in any way. Diana made it easy to get the things we needed and even helped with portion estimation (Which turned out to be perfectly spot on btw!)Chicken, Egg & pasta salads were all delicious and we will no doubt be back soon!!”
“Love not waiting and having an air pump when needed...
I have a Sam's club membership too, but the gas line there is usually a 3-4 car wait.”
“I was there the other day it was my 1st time there and I was impressed very nice. Prices aren't really that much lower but I will be shopping there for somethings.”
“Well, I bought what I thought were three cream puffs. Turns out only one was and the other two were custard. Then, to make matters worse I had to go fill out some paperwork for my new job and my cream puff melted in the heat!”
“Pretty decently clean...the cashier was pretty helpful about job information. Really polite, respectful..I'll for sure go back vs family dollar. The manager down there is snobby and kind of stand offishly rude. Like she doesn't care about anything. If ur not happy with your job, quit and move on.”
“Very good, clean grocery store with a huge selection of all kinds of groceries. From canned foods to frozen foods, produce (organic and regular), dairy, deli, bakery, pharmacy, and flower shop plus Prepared Hot Foods and meals ready to go.
For the person who recently inquired about stocking shelves here, I believe they do that during open business hours now and no longer have a midnight crew to stock shelves during closed hours. I hope this helps out.”
“The food is fresh. A good selection of vitamins and supplements. The associate in vitamins and supplements is helpful and knowledgeable. I love when they have the 30% off vitamins, supplements and body wash!”
“Been going here for the past decade and will continue to keep going. Never had much issue other than it being a little expensive and checkouts lines are long sometimes. Wish they had more "express" self checkouts lanes for us just running in and out. But all in all, still one of my favorite places to get groceries.”
“I am giving a review for the Giant Eagle on the Strip, and three other locations. First the Strip. Clean, Pretty good selection. Very nice people. Never had a problem with anyone in this store. Things they should work on: Keeping the stock up a bit better. (although I do know a lot has had to do with Covid) But, all and all I love this store. Massillon Location: Eh...In a pinch it's okay, but the selection is scant. If it weren't for the fact there is no other grocery store near this location, I think the sales would drop dramatically. Third Location: Raff Road..Good selection, clean, but could be better. Location is a bit dangerous. I have had two different shoppers make me feel threatened by their actions. NEVER go there at night. Fourth and my FAVORITE..Green. Wonderful selection, clean, great staff, zero problems at this location as far as I am concerned. It's even fun to shop at this location. There is one more location I also love, but it's not as near me as the others, but the Strongsville location is the BOMB!! Five star rating is only for the Strip, Green, and Strongsville locations.”
“Like other BJ's warehouses in the region, this one was eerily quiet when I stopped late one recent evening. Only a handful of customers inside the store, with the sounds of the TVs on display reverberating throughout. For me, this made for a super-pleasant shopping experience. I could browse everything on offer in each of the aisles and in the refrigerated cases at a leisurely pace with ample distancing from others. When it comes to large warehouse outlets like this, there's inevitably going to be a comparison with Costco. Here at BJ's, there are plenty of in-house items (Wellsley Farms for food, Berkely Jensen for household items) that compare with Costco's Kirkland brand. Some folks swear by Kirkland, while I find the two chains' offerings reasonably similar. This having been said, I find that BJ's carries plenty of name-brand groceries and packaged food items too. Moreover, I find that BJ's has slightly more variety (i.e. lower-fat ground meats) and in more reasonable sizes than prepper-friendly portions that you'll find at Costco. So, depending on your specific needs and tastes, BJ's might work better than Costco. Or it might not. If you don't have a large family to feed, I suspect BJ's might win out.”
“Been going here since I was little and I have never had any bad experiences. I always get what I need on time plus the staff has been very kind to me, I’m always happy to see them!”
“So the last few times I have gotten old produce from them for curbside. They give you whatever, they don't check for freshness, so I will never get produce from curbside again. Getting curbside is great, just not produce.”
“Acme has pretty good prices and a nice store. It isn't a large supermarket, so there are some things that we are not able to get, but we do a lot of our grocery shopping here.”
“The tires are extremely reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and they honor the tire warranty. Got 4 new tires with warranty & within 3 months I got a nail in the tire near the side wall. They replaced it free of charge.”
“We've been members of BJ'S for years. We like it because they have good selection, good prices, helpful people and it is hardly ever crazy busy like other wholesale clubs on the area.”
“I'm not sure what really happened in the past, but I have no complaints on the last 10yrs with the staff ,especially the pharmacy. They always treat me with kindness and understanding of my meds I take daily. I always get reminded before my script is out to pick up my meds. This one is just down the road from me and my folks. They even called my doctor when someone at the doctor office forgot to call it in. So as customers, we need a little more patience and remember that everyone has a bad day. Keep life simple and appreciate it”
“My favorite store, but you really need to train every one of your cashiers on how to do wic. Every time I come to this store no one has a clue on how to do it. I was here today and the manager didn’t even want to come up front and help the cashier. This is the only store that I know of that offers wic and none of the employees have a clue of what it is or how it even works”
“They almost always have what I need in stock.
I have a Medicare healthy food card that I use once a month.
And, I worked there 18 years ago also.”
“I'm reviewing this SOLEY on the deli staff that worked on 5/8/2024 around 4:20.
They made it look like it is fun to work there!
There were 2 dazzling people that were behind the counter that worked together to expedite my order along with fun banter that made me smile.
The self serve island was fully stocked...neatly!
Also, the case of meat and cheese was well organized and clean.
I recently had a bad experience with another Marc's closer to me and I won't shop there again. This interaction with this particular store will have me continuing to shop at Marc's.”
“Only place I have found okinawan purple yams! They have tons of dried beans and different rices, as well as snacks, frozen, and fresh food. Korean radosh, baby bok choy, enoki mushroom, king oyster mushroom, kimchi etc... The women working here are super friendly as well?”
