“I met one of the co workers who checked me out. She was very nice, about my age, and a lip piercing. She was awesome, nice, caring, and can tell she’s a genuine person!!! They know how to price their items and it’s a nice place to go for thrifting ?”

“WOW!!?? I just have to say, this place has the nicest staff! I stopped in today, and the young girl at the counter, Noel was an absolute sweetheart... You don’t see that kind of politeness in teenagers very often these days... She was handling a long line all by herself but she still made time to chat with me. I came back because I thought something was off on my receipt (turns out I just wasn’t reading it right...go figure, LOL! ?). She was so kind and took the time to explain everything to me, even with another long line behind me. She didn’t rush me or make me feel silly at all.

The whole store was spotless and super well-organized, which I loved. Plus, knowing that everything supports a good cause? That’s just the cherry on top! Common threads just earned a new loyal customer ?”

“One of my fav resale shops to support. Always great finds here! The clothing store is to the left and home furnishings store on right. They offer a reward punch card program for regular shoppers. Also a great place to donate items for them to resell for great cause. I have found many fav clothing items here!”

“Since April when the new Volunteers of America opened I have been going to the Brunswick Goodwill and I have started to like the Goodwill store better than the new Volunteers of America. I don't know who is donating clothing, etc. to VA but they are such ugly clothing for men and women, I usually find that the mens and womens clothing in this Goodwill are way nicer.”

“Successful trip to the goodwill. The only thing is that they didn't give me a bag and I had a handful of stuff. But that's not really a big deal. They had a good selection of men's shirts.”

“Tracy, above and beyond. That is all I can say, the lovely lady took time out and helped me with my exquisite purchase. She was kind, helpful and just took the meaning of helping others to the optimal level.
Also, I am sorry I did not catch her name, but the cashier with glasses and brown hair....top notch.

They both made the purchase of my new couch an amazing one. And I am happy to say it looks WONDERFUL!

I appreciate them both and can't thank them enough.

God bless.”

“I’ve been to countless Goodwill’s all over the Ohio area. The employees never seem to be in a good mood/ too friendly. However, I decided to drive a little bit out to visit this store today. Denise was at the register. I noticed how friendly and in great spirits she was. She talked to every customer that was in line ahead of me. When it was my turn, she had the same energy. She was so so so so sweet and personable. Denise, I hope you know that your kindness in the world we live in today, is so important and so refreshing!”

“shoutout to MEL!!! (i think their name was Mel - person working the morning of 7/20 with black curly hair and glasses)
some other person used my phone number to make a savers account years ago, so i’ve never been able to use the self checkout here without getting an employee to come over and verify my phone number. Mel deleted my number from the other person’s account so i won’t have to do that ever again. it’s a very small thing but im super grateful to be able to use the self checkout without employee assistance from now on ?”

“I had a great experience with this organization. Although it did take a few tries to get on their schedule, it was worth the wait. The crew came and moved a queen mattress, 2 chairs and bedding out of the house in a matter of minutes and were very friendly. I’d choose this over dumping items at Goodwill any day.”
