“Breakfast was great. We only stayed here a day so I didn't get a perfect feel out of the place. But all in all it was a nice hotel. I think. The scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly. The sausage was nice. I would come back here for sure. If it wasn't in Columbus, that is.”

After a different hotel chain claimed they didn’t get our reservation we had to go to hotel to hotel trying to find a room on a busy weekend after driving 6 hours from out of state. Tracy went above and beyond with us and was able to get us a room on such a busy weekend. Great employee, and made us excited for our weekend travels again now that we have a room!”

“Chose this hotel for our wedding, friendly staff, clean rooms, and plenty of things to do around the hotel if you’re there for a while. My husband set up the room block and had no trouble doing so, however we did request the shuttle service upon booking with them and when we showed up the day before they had no mention of it in the system. When we asked about it, they said something along the lines of it not being asked for? We had a fun crowd. Mostly my husbands friends. I know he asked for the shuttle. Regardless, given that it was January there were no other events going on so it was an easy fix and we didn’t argue about who was right or wrong. Maybe just get it in writing if it’s busy season. Would stay here again, overall quality was good! Breakfast is included :)”

“There is apparently endless construction here, and it is not possible to walk to the terminal, despite it being close. However, the shuttle was fantastic, and very prompt. We even left the car at the hotel (10/day) and used their shuttle, vs the red/green shuttle. Be sure to take a picture of the direct shuttle number at the front desk. Clean room, basics were done well. Good breakfast. The parking lot was smooth gravel in a visible location, didn't feel concerned about safety.”

“As a Titanium Elite Marriott Bonvoy member, I stay at many Marriott properties throughout the year, and I can confidently say that Chaz Scott at the front desk provided one of the best customer service experiences I’ve encountered. When we checked into our original room, we experienced an internet connectivity issue that prevented us from connecting our devices and using the television. After reporting the problem, we learned there would be a delay in receiving support from the internet service provider. Rather than leaving us to wait, Chaz immediately stepped in and took ownership of the situation. He upgraded us to a King Suite, added additional Marriott Bonvoy points to my account, and even stocked the refrigerator with complimentary snacks. Throughout the entire process, he was professional, courteous, and genuinely focused on ensuring our stay remained enjoyable. What impressed me most was his commitment to hospitality and his proactive approach to resolving an issue that was beyond his direct control. “This was base camp for Sonic Temple 2026 in Columbus. We were lucky to receive a free room upgrade which offered plenty of space for two people! (We each had our own hotel room with a common area 😁). Breakfast was very good and the staff were friendly and helpful. There's a basketball court and nice outside seating area. My only slight criticism is the building is showing it's age, so some cosmetic maintenance would help it shine even more! We would stay here again!”

“I was a bit surprised by the cucumber & lime water offered in the lobby, as it had sugar added. The idea of infused water is to keep it refreshing, not sweet. If guests want something sugary, soda is already available. I expected a different standard, especially from an international hotel chain. It’s also important to note that this hotel does not include a buffet breakfast, which may be disappointing for some travelers. That said, the room itself is decent, and overall the stay was fine.”

“My family of 4 stayed here in between leases and I personally *loved* staying here. The rooms are clean with plenty of storage, the woman at the front desk is wonderful and the night attendant equally so, they are really great at their jobs. The housekeeper does a fantastic job as well. The location is close to everything you need like a Walmart, grogery store, a couple of parks, libraries and a laundromat if you need to wash large loads (there is a cute little laundry room on site for smaller loads.) The cost is very reasonable as well. The view of the sunset from the 3rd floor is also noteworthy. Great extended stay 10/10, I totally recommend!”

Darius, the best person in the world, very quickly resolved this for us and brought us new keys to a new room right across the hall. This was the best case scenario solution. “Great stay at the Best Western in Canal Winchester. Staff is capable and efficient - Tammy and her team are doing a great job. Smooth check-in/out. Room was clean, fridge and microwave both worked (microwave was actually clean, which shouldn't be notable but often is), and the beds were firm and felt new. Because of the location (there's even an assisted living facility next door), you can reasonably expect a quiet stay, but ear plugs wouldn't be a bad idea as a backup plan (can't blame the hotel for the occasional loud neighbor). A couple of standouts: - Don't expect an elevator - they even say that on the website. There are only 2 floors. - Internet is decent with a quick login you receive with your room key. - They're strict about no smoking, and it shows in the room's cleanliness. Even the mini-split AC filters were clean. With the wildfire smoke tanking air quality during my stay, I barely noticed it indoors with the unit running (what I saw rolling over the dew-coated grass in the morning was NOT the morning fog). - Breakfast area was clean, hot food was worth waking up for, and there were low/no-carb options too, so it wasn't just carb-heavy cereals and muffins. Quality carton milk and small yogurt cups. No bottled water or soda. I was impressed how quickly they wiped the tables and chairs down after someone left a mess. - Location is solid if you have a car. Walkable options include Popeye's, Buffalo Wild Wings, Donato's, Skyline Chili, Wendy's, and Tim Horton's. Kroger and Walmart with more eatery options are a bit further out, but with a vehicle you'd be surprised how much is packed into this small area - there's even a car wash and an oil change place just down the street. Would stay here again!”
