“We have lived at OUC for a few years and recently transferred within the building. Special shoutout to Jill who helped made the entire process smooth and stress-free, and taking the time to show us apartments with all our little questions. Everyone in the leasing office was extremely professional, responsive, and helpful every step of the way.
I also want to thank the property manager, Garen, who was equally professional throughout the transfer process. Together they made everything clear, organized, and easy from start to finish. We were able to find a space that fits our needs and are happy to call this place home.
Highly recommend living here if you’re in the Cleveland area. Top notch amenities, staff, and environment. Oh and our dogs love it too!”

The staff is incredibly friendly, and the building is meticulously cleaned every morning. The maintenance team goes above and beyond, and our front desk concierge, Judy, always goes the extra mile for residents, even when some tasks are beyond her reach. I genuinely appreciate the staff at Gates Mills Place and thank you for consistently exceeding our expectations. I highly recommend K&D to family and friends. Last year, I even helped my grandmother and her husband move in at Gates Mills Place!”

“I lived in Uptown North for 2 years. Sure it may have some issues, but the management makes up for it. Carrie was an amazing property manager who was always available to help us with whatever we needed, so overall it was a great experience. Ratings are lower for Uptown compared to other apartments because they don't solicit fake reviews.”

“I lived in this apartment complex for nearly three years. My work schedule is highly unpredictable, often requiring long hours. Fortunately, the management team was incredibly flexible and responsive to any concerns or maintenance issues that arose during my stay. The apartments themselves are generally very nice (I lived in multiple), and it’s an advantage to have your own garage, eliminating the hassle of finding parking in a busy college area. I highly recommend living here.”
“I wanted to be placed on a wait list and expected a usual routine of coming for an appointment, answering questions and filling an application by hand. But I was pleasantly surprised. On K&D website I was able to do everything online, uploaded a photo of my drivers license and pdf of my bank statement, both filled in and signed the application electronically, from the comfort of my home. It took about half an hour or so. Didn't tour an apartment yet but I have lived in K&D owned apartments before and I know for a fact that they take care of their apartment buildings. Beats me why everybody else will have you do all this in person. C'mon now, it's the 21st century, after all. Kudos to K&D! I totally enjoyed the procress of filling in an application online.”
“I have lived in the townhouses in Wickliffe for about 3 years and have had no issues they even gave us a complementary carpet clean which turned out great! Brittany(I think that is her name?) in the leasing office is amazing she is always so nice and has a fast response time with any questions I may have. With everyone we have dealt with she is hands down the friendliest!
Our maintenance guy Jeff is super nice as well always makes small talk and says hi when we see him around the properties.”
“Martinez and his crew did a wonderful job. There was a major water leak. The bottom cabinets had to removed. Once the cabinets were replaced, Martinez had Igor do the patch work. OMG, Igor did an awesome job. K&D need to keep Igor at this building. His talent is amazing. My kitchen looks 100% better from the original state before the water leak. I appreciate the current maintenance staff and manger in this building. Thank you so very much.”
“First thing I will say is this property 100% has been a circus since I have moved in. The second thing I will say is GHC has done the absolute right thing by making Ms. Lawanda Anderson the property manager. She has done an excellent job with fixing all the issues of this building. And when I say all, I mean all. She has been prompt, understanding, and very easy to work with. 10/10 I do recommend moving here now under the current management team…well because of her”
“I lived here for two years and while there were a few bumps in the road when I first moved in I can confidently say it was a great place to live. My apartment was extremely spacious, maintenance and leasing managers would handle issues quickly and it is in a great location: 20 mins to downtown and a mile from Little Italy. Moving out was a breeze and I will miss this location! My only complaint was the trash bins, they often overflowed and some residents seemed to leave their trash on the fire escape regularly which is a hazard should an emergency occur but overall a great apartment for 2 years.”

“I lived in one of the smaller studio units here for two years, and had a great experience with this apartment complex. The area is quiet and parking is never an issue. The rooms retain heat well in the winter and the updated laundry rooms with phone app balances are never too busy. Office staff and maintenance were always courteous to me, and quick to reply to voicemails or emails. I moved out of state, but wouldn't hesitate to recommend people rent here.”
“I am currently looking to downsize and recently toured the property with Antoinette, the leasing agent. She was extremely helpful, professional, and kind throughout the entire process. She answered all of my questions and made the experience very pleasant.
I would highly recommend working with Antoinette if you are considering moving to this property. Her exceptional customer service and attention to detail truly stood out. You will not be disappointed. Overall, I would rate my experience a 10 out of 10.”
“That's one of my part-time jobs W/ my client it's fair, I'm not going to say it's the bom!! cause it's not,,it's a low income building, I believe. & When I arrived there in the morning it is a small amount of people that hang out in the parking lot & outside of the building. When you park in the parking lot it is uneven it's like a downhill extremely wopsided ground,, so if you're visiting someone there be ready to climb a hill be ready to pull up or down the hill exercising your legs will really be tired, if you're not used to walking.”
