“I always like to call Trader Joe's the hippy American cousin of Aldi. There is not really one close to me, so I don't get to come there very much, but when I do I am always thrilled at the delightful variety of goods that I find. I love the cheese selection. I love the frozen section. I love the wine section. I love everything there. Pricing is great. Staff is super friendly. It's just a great store. It's not too big- very manageable size. The bags are sturdy and strong. It was a little bit crowded, but not so much that it impeded my ability to get what I needed fairly quickly. Check out lines were not long at all. I am going to have to make it a point to come back up here again sometime sooner, rather than later.”

“Saturday morning was cold and rainy. My favorite breakfast place failed to put honey dew in the fruit cup. So, I came to Heinens for their lovely produce. I wasn’t sure how to tell if it was ripe. I asked a produce worker for assistance and he kindly began to squeeze melons. I must say, the one he gave me was perfect. Jolly good show!”

“Butternut Corners Market is perfect for what it is - a little convenience store on the corner so you don't have to go all the way to the grocery for whatever you need. They have assorted cold drinks (pop, Gatorade, iced tea, energy drinks) and beer, sweet and salty snacks, a deli counter with premade hot/cold sandwiches, household items, grocery basics like milk, butter, cheese, bacon, ice cream, canned goods, even some household cleaning items and a small selection of vegetables. They have an ATM and lottery tickets. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. I stop by at least once a week, usually in my pajamas or something crazy, and they never bat an eye. I can't think of anything I would change - maybe ask them to stock G2? Pretty minor. If you see a crazy lady running on no sleep in her pajamas, perhaps with a small child in tow, that's probably me. Feel free to say hi.”

“I come up here during the summer and go out of my way to shop here. I have a Meijer close to me where I live and they could learn a lot from the Lorain Meijer. Lorain Meijer is clean, well organized, well staffed and has what I need. While they still have a lot of self check outs in use, I’ve been able to utilize a real cashier every time I’ve gone And they are always friendly and quick. I’ve stopped at the customer service desk also and never have to wait.”

James came out to my car quickly, refused to take a tip, and did a wonderful job packing my groceries into my vehicle. I have a broken heel so this made life so much easier. Because I must say they don't usually have many handicapped automated carts. That's something they need more of. James kudos to you!”

“BJ's is our go-to for a Club Warehouse. It has most of the selection Costco has, but none of the overcrowded parking lots or store. It has free food samples, bakery, bulk food/ household necessities, clothes, and decor. The only thing BJs does not have is a food court, and that's okay with me. They even take manufacturers' coupons and have their own digital coupons! Win!”
