“As years go by, we learn and grow from our failures and success. Harbor Freight is an Excellent example of this. No matter where you are in the country Harbor Freight has Excellent Staff and Management and I believe that is what's kept this store alive through the toughest of times and because of their Core Values displayed throughout the employees across the country, they now have become very competitive in the tool market. If something breaks or don't hold up to the customers' purchase, they do their best to not only make it right, they make changes to improve the item so it Doesn't happen again. Thank you to all Harbor Freight Tool Employees for allowing me to see what a Fantastic Business Model looks like. Give yourself a pat on the back because you all do a great job ? and know exactly how teamwork operates. - Seven Cities Retail”

“Nice place. It was my first time shooting hand guns. Range was quite warm (it is not temperature controlled, so it was not unexpected) - keep that in mind during some of those stupid-hot days we get. Staff was awesome. We will be back!!!!”

“Excellent customer service, and good selection of hard to find tools, bits, and sockets. I appreciate all that they do. 10/10 would recommend and will return for my business.”

“Needed a capacitor for my AC at my house and this is the only place I found it. I spokento a gentleman on the phone to confirm they had it in stock. He was super nice and helpful. Drove 30 minutes and picked it up. Bought a few other things and since I spent over $40, they gave me a free citronella candle. Super nice place and everyone was beyond friendly. I am a small business owner as well and I love leaving positive reviews when they are deserved. What a great place and I will be back. Thank you ACE of Avon Lake!!!!!”

“I called with some questions and I was able to speak with Lexi, and let me just say 11/10 customer service! If you need some help, go find Lexi! Although what I needed isnt available in store, I almost want to still stop in and buy something to support the business. If corp or management ever reads this- give that girl a raise.”

“There is still a hardware store where you can get advice on a project, have a lamp repaired, buy both a garden rake and plumbing supplies, find a match for exactly the screw you need, and pick up windshield washer fluid for your car. You don't ever have to wander up and down the lonely aisles of one of those big box stores again. Instead, let a friendly person at Watson's guide you through their big inventory in a human-scale storefront. They can even help when you don't know the name of the doohickey you are looking for; as a new homeowner, I have purchased many such doohickies here.”

“Diana was extremely helpful, courteous and professional. She was always looking for ways to save money on refill and cost of the products. I feel that she is extremely knowledgeable and always gave me solid advice on the products I purchased. She deserves a raise and recognition.”

“Excellent place as we all know for home improvement items but this store is staffed with extremely helpful and nice people. The prices are very competitive if not dead even with other stores who stock these types of items.”

“I’m a plumber in Missouri and had an interesting problem with a shower cartridge. I noticed Avon lake Ohio 44012 imprinted on it. So I googled plumbing companies and active plumbing supply company popped up. I called and talked to John Knight. And he had me send a picture to him and then went out of his way to help me even though I am in Missouri. Thankful for the help!”

“Always a great experience shopping at this Home Depot in Avon Ohio. Monday night I got there late, both Russel and Connor were able to point me in the right direction, cut my trim to the size I needed and followed up by helping me load my trailer . I was in and out of the store in record time.”

“I had placed an online order for two sets of ceramic dishes for our anniversary party. They arrived with many pieces broken in each of the two boxes. I was really distraught about this (I cried big ugly tears), because this was a really special occasion for us. I didn't have enough time for a second order to arrive, nor did I have enough time to find something comparable locally. Josh was very calm and kind on the phone, even though I was not. He suggested a viable solution and gave me a refund. I wasn't thinking clearly at that moment, so his guidance was exactly what I needed. I have no way of knowing who was at fault for the breakage, but he made it right for me. Josh is a rock star!!”

“Have historically been more of a home Depot guy, but I have to admit, the last few times I went to Lowe's I was thoroughly impressed! It isnt just trying to be another version of HD anymore imo. They sort of have their own vibe, new inventory that I dont recall them having back in the day and lots of it. If you haven't been lately I suggest checking it out. I have spent more time there than at the competition whenever I do go. I guess its probably because they keep it interesting. Plus, for HVAC technicians like me & (I suppose) electricians, Lowe's is the new home of Klein tools! Whats not to love? Highly recommend!”

“Needs a couple more handicap spots but it's a home Depot. The staff is friendly. The layout is different than some other stores but it's always labeled.”

“We bought a lawn trailer for a mower online, and to our surprise, when we went to get it, they had put it together. They brought it out to my truck and helped me load it. That's good old-fashioned service!”

“Michelle, our cashier today, helped us set up an account for a military discount on our purchases. She was very kind and courteous and took us through every step of the process without being impatient with our lack of media skills. Michelle was a ray of sunshine in a world of unhappy customer service representatives. She's a keeper!!”

“Four star review is only four really bad location for trucks, it’s in the middle of the town and that’s why I’m giving four stars. This update is just for drivers , there is a five or six docks on east side of the building where the entrance for the shipping receiving is. The easiest way to get to the building and shipping department is if you follow route 20 then go to the Taylor Road all the way to the end until you reach Winckles street than turn lef And the entrance is right there on your right hand side.I have delivered at 6 AM with no problem, but if you call in advance, they will tell you 7 o’clock the opening. Absolutely there is no overnight parking so don’t even try small streets and tight streets.. people were polite at receiving so that’s a big plus. Due to problems with the parking spots in the city there is Walmart supercenter 3 1/2 miles south but they do not allow overnight stays only if you need to stay there for a few hours waiting for another load that I think would be OK.”
