While the online inventory search did not match what was in store, in this case, it worked in our favor. The website was inaccurate in showing what was available in the outdoor furniture section, because when we arrived, the patio/summer section had way more available than the sad 1 table we were expecting. The staff was super helpful and we were able to get everything we needed. I thought they had a great selection in the garden center. It was well-organized and had a hearty combination of full light and partial light hanging baskets and plants for every possible scenario needed. I was pleasantly surprised by their selection of succulent planters. Super cute and well-priced! We'd come back.”

“This will be my number one go to store from now on. I’ve never heard of them and was recommended to them from my good friend and whoa they did not disappoint. Everyone in that store was super helpful very respectful and all of them treated me as if I’ve been shopping there my whole life. They even gave me extra nozzles for my pressure washer. Finally they even ensured I understood everything I needed to know about my pressure washer after they closed because I got there so late. I really do truly appreciate the great service and the great people at Lakeshore Tool and Equipment!”

“Update 1/17/23: Manager Tiffany called a few hours after I picked up the part and said they realized their mistake and apologized profusely for not double-checking the order before it was picked up. She not only personally dropped off the correct part at our home that evening, but gave us a $20 gift card as well and another profuse apology. Well done! Upgraded review from 1 to 4 stars.Original review: Ordered Delta faucet cartridge for curbside pickup. Followed the pick up directions per the email. When I pulled up to the store and called them, I was left on hold for four minutes while they attempted to find my order that I had only placed three hours before that. Eventually, I simply went into the store, found out they were still trying to find it, although it was sitting in a bag right on the shelf with their other (few) pick up orders the entire time. Got home with the bag only to discover that there's nothing on this package that matches what I ordered. It was supposed to be the original Delta part, but it's an American Standard not compatible at all. I have been into the store a handful of other times over the years and never once have I ever felt like anyone in there actually wanted to help me find anything. Put up with it for expediency, living right in Avon Lake, but I think after today I am officially done. Well, after I return this part...”

“I had placed an online order for two sets of ceramic dishes for our anniversary party. They arrived with many pieces broken in each of the two boxes. I was really distraught about this (I cried big ugly tears), because this was a really special occasion for us. I didn't have enough time for a second order to arrive, nor did I have enough time to find something comparable locally. Josh was very calm and kind on the phone, even though I was not. He suggested a viable solution and gave me a refund. I wasn't thinking clearly at that moment, so his guidance was exactly what I needed. I have no way of knowing who was at fault for the breakage, but he made it right for me. Josh is a rock star!!”

“I love this store. I affectionately call it the quote un quote redneck Walmart. I do not say that in a derogatory way. They cater to folks that need feed and supplies and other things for farm animals. And folks that live a real lifestyle that need the kind of things you just can't find at your typical big box store. I find their people to be very friendly and knowledgeable. I am fortunate enough to have one 5 minutes from my home and they're very often my first go to stop when I need stuff to do some chores around the house. This is the Diy persons Walmart. They have stuff you just don't see anywhere else.”

“A big box store that is the main competition for Home Depot. Seems to be more adept at appealing to the true 'do it yourselfer IMHO. large selection of home improvement supplies and household repair stuff. They almost always have what you're looking for which helps cut down on the number of trips required ?a update: I'm starting to lean way more towards Lowe's than I do Home Depot. On a whole range of items Lowe's does seem to have a better price point. I guess your mileage may vary but for my money I usually go to Lowe's first for my home improvement and hardware needs and then to Home Depot if Lowe's doesn't have it. They seem to have a workforce that's 'happier to be there' than allot of other places that I shop at. They almost always have what you're looking for.”
