“1st time stopping, you have a wonderful store. Kids were impressed with the dehydrator, dehydrated skittles lol & we all got ice cream cones! The only thing is some non English employees are very soft spoken & hard to hear...I am assuming maybe their heritage... like the ladies working in the deli/ive cream counter....this place has a Chipotle bar!!! Awesome!!!”
“One of the best places I've ever delivered to. Not only did they give me a couple jars of pasta sauce that I can't wait to try out but for being friendly and in the trucking industry that's very rare now days. I'm not sure if he was the owner or plant manager but he was the last one out the building and he came up to my truck and asked if I was helped and once I told him I was a day early and got there after the fork lift operator left he was willing to have him come back in hours after he left just so I didn't have to sit until the next morning.”

“Cute little market. Passing through Zoar and stopped in for some essentials I needed for dinner that evening and some extras. They had everything I needed and saved me a trip to the larger grocery stores. I was able to grab buns, fresh tomatoes, and some trail bologna. The gentleman ringing me up was very personable and gave me the impression that this was a place that everyone knows everyone if you are a regular. Will try to return more often when passing through.”

Vegetarian options: Someone is confused. My local discount drug Mart is not a restaurant style deli. It is like a market deli or a supermarket deli. They have lunch, meat and cheese. They have deli, desserts, and salads made from scratch. I believe they also make meat and cheese and fruit trays. Possibly catered trays for parties. I am not sure but it is not a sit-down deli. Just to clear up any confusion, at least not in New Philadelphia, Ohio.
Dietary restrictions: I have noticed low sodium and sugar-free items are available at the shoppers consensus.
Parking: Two large parking lots one on either side of the building
Kid-friendliness: Great toy and game selection as well as bicycle repair supplies, models and modeling clay, and so much more while you're waiting to get your children's prescriptions filled
Wheelchair accessibility: Discount drug Mart in New Philadelphia is completely handicapped accessible and a great place for your medical supply needs”
“Nice small town grocery store , we have been looking for Wild Mikes pizza in our area for almost 2 years and we decided to stop here for a bag of chips and to our surprise and delight they had a bunch of wild mikes pizza , we have written the company trying to get them and we finally have a place to go”

“Nice little hometown grocery store. Love the candy selection! They carry all the important things, like cigarettes, beer, diapers, and a little bit of everything. The owner is very friendly and I'm certain the Nickels employees are grateful.”
“It's like any other DG just in a bad part of town and it looks damn near abandoned on the outside but has all the stuff every other DG has. They could clean the trash out of the parking lot and it wldnt look do ran down.”
“If there was an AA for DG I would be first in line! I love Dollar general and in there several days a week. They have a great app with a lot of smart coupons that is very easy to use and this store specifically is always very well stocked, built in a very convenient area with lots of parking and an easy way to get in and out. I've never had a bad experience with any of the employees here who always seem to be smiling and laughing and genuinely liking their job. That is hard to find in customer service nowadays. Update-2022-Still get a friendly smile and a "Hello" or some sort of friendly greeting when entering the store. Very clean and organized. Always in and out if in a hurry or offered help if just looking around. Still my favorite store for everything!”

“I just moved to New Philadelphia about a month ago and I was in the store and I think it was a manager but I kept asking where plastic was where duct tape was where windshield wiper fluid was and she never once acted like I was annoying her or bugging her she even help me find stuff I was very polite”

“We had a family reunion in Tippacanoe, and we decided to order sandwiches and cookies to take to share. Monica was wonderful to work with in making our sandwich trays. Her personality is amazing...very caring and helpful. Larry is the baker that made our cookie trays, and they were delicious. Thank you Monica, deli and Larry, bakery.”

“back in the day about 6 years ago back when Lebron was in Cleveland I got a Cavaliers hoodie. That hoodie still looks brand new. The letters are still on, not even peeled or cracked. Everyday I came in and go whip cream and eat it out the can as I walked a mile to the park.....good times”
