Sylvania Veterinary Hospital: Wade Andrea DVM
4801 N Holland Sylvania Rd, SylvaniaWe had an emergency with our 2-year-old cat, Neela, on Saturday. Our regular vet was closed, and the emergency clinic wasn’t open yet. After calling several local offices, this one was the only place willing to see us — and I’m so glad they did!
They got us in right away, and the visit was much more affordable than an emergency clinic. Dr. Emily was incredibly kind and took the time to explain everything she found. She even addressed another health issue that our regular vet had never offered treatment options for. The vet tech was just as wonderful — attentive, knowledgeable, and so caring toward both Neela and us.
Because of this experience, we’re switching all of our pets’ care to this office permanently. I can’t recommend them enough!

Inside the Five Brewing Company
5703 Main St, SylvaniaI had never been here before and I decided to come for my birthday brunch instead of going to dinner. It was well worth it! They had great options for everyone, even my kid. I felt the server was sub-par. I wasn't impressed. She was nice but I felt like she had something else going on or something. It wasn't busy so I was kind of surprised she wasn't a little friendlier. Overall though I liked the place and the ambiance. I will say what could make the place even better is having screens for the windows during those sunny hours of the day as our table was in the full sun the whole time which can take away from the experience. Although I like the natural light I don't like being blinded or overheating. Also, the tater tots were delicious but extremely crunchy. Just a heads up to anyone who might be thinking about getting them.
