Pet Grooming
I & R Puppy Spa
561 East Columbus Road, UticaI can’t say enough great things about I&R Puppy Spa! I took my 10-year-old pit mix, Jax, in for a bath and nail trim, and the experience was incredible. Normally at the vet it takes 4–5 people just to trim his nails, but Joyce handled him all on her own and kept him completely calm the entire time.
Jax clearly loved it there—when I picked him up, he kept trying to go back to the back room! He came home smelling amazing and looking so clean and happy. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Utica Animal Care Center
145 South Main Street, UticaI had a really positive experience with this veterinary office. The doctor is very upfront and honest, which I personally appreciate, though I can see how some might find his direct approach a bit surprising at first. For me, it builds trust and confidence in the care my dog is receiving.
During our visit, he trimmed both of my dog’s nails quickly and without any issues—something that can often be stressful, but wasn’t at all here. He also made sure my dog was fully up to date on vaccinations, explaining everything clearly along the way.
What stood out most was the staff. They handled the dogs with such efficiency and genuine care, making the entire process smooth and reassuring. You can tell they are experienced and truly care about the animals they work with.
Overall, I left feeling impressed and grateful for the level of care and professionalism. I would definitely recommend this vet to others looking for honest, capable, and compassionate service.

3205 Van Fossen Rd, UticaWe used Janice 4 or 5 years ago for our two dogs. We’ve since lost one of those dogs but acquired a new dog and used what we learned from Janice on the newer dog. Janice rocks! Highly recommend.
