“Half Price Books is the best used book store in the tri-state ( OH, IN,KY). The Mason store is closest to my home. Most importantly Mason seems to get the remainders on either my wish or gift lists. And Mason gets themed collections such as Osprey Publishing collections deaccessioned from a library or a personal collections. Which makes shopping at HPB like hitting the jackpot. Well worth the trip.”

“I went to Half Priced Books looking for a gift for my wife. She works at a place with a benefit of very cheap flights and plans to us to travel.I went in looking for a travel book for South Africa, however they only had 2 in stock. Out of date, from 2008 and 2013.After asking for assistance an employee helped me special order the latest published (2018) of a highly recommended travel book.Staff is friendly, professional and more than willing to help customers. My only regret was needing to special order.”

“3/27/21...This was the first store we stopped at when we got to the mall. There was a great clearance sale on calendars, but we didn't need any. There was a sale section in the back of the store where I found 2 games (for adults) & my son also found 2 games/toys. These were a great deal! We overheard other customers talk about how a lot of the (regular priced) items could be found cheaper at Target & they were right but we still enjoyed the experience. Also, the cashier was really nice. I'm sure those that like to buy holiday gifts super early would find some great bargains if they had extra money, time & patience to go through everything.”

One of the employees helped me find it and we got to discussing books that we had both read by a different author. I appreciated the discussion and the employee's suggestions.
