Receiving opens at 7:30am and you’ll be first to get unloaded, open doors and you’re set. If both docks are full, park at fuel island near the bush side.”

    “I picked up a couple of things at the Dollar General at 5310 Cleveland Rd., Wooster, Ohio, the morning of 14 Feb., 2024. I paid for my items with a debit card, which I left in the machine. The checkout lady, Lisa, tall with bluish hair, ran out into the parking lot and returned it to me. Her attentiveness and concern for a customer saved me a nightmare. I thank Dollar General for employing people of high character like this lady.”

    “At the time of writing this review, Buehler's has the most delicious hothouse strawberries from Canada that I have tasted in a long time on sale for $1.99This is a clean store, lots of items, prices are decent.Hot and Cold food section but most importantly to me .... They sell Red Dragon cheese!!! I have looked for years for this cheese ever since our Earth fare closed.One of the best cheeses I've ever had in my whole life and they had it there right in the middle of their specialty cheese section.I could hardly believe it!Everyone was very kind and helpfulThough the store is a little out of the way for me I will return whenever I'm in the area.I may even make a specialty trip there.”

    “It may be strange to have a favorite drugstore when one is traveling, but we go to Wooster, Ohio every year for the Ohio Light Opera, and I always make a point to stop at Discount Drug Mart. Even if I don’t really need anything. Not only does the store have so much more than my drugstores at home, but the people are always so very wonderful. Because I only go once a year, I don’t know where things are. Every time I’ve asked an employee for help, they’ve stopped what they’re doing and taken me there instead of just saying “Oh go look on aisle such and such”. We recently needed to get some prescriptions filled, and Margaret Hope in the pharmacy was super helpful. She figured out how to get the best price, she expedited our order as she could see my husband was in pain, she was cheerful and provided excellent service.”

Asked young man where something was and he knew exactly where and took us to the product. Many don't know where anything is, or don't want to help. Sam is an excellent worker. I will drive out of the way to go to a better store like this one. Hands down, best dollar store.”

On May 29, the retailer said its 30-minute-or-less delivery had reached 33 U.S. markets, adding a wave of new cities across the Northeast.
