I wanted to pass along a suggestion that could really help bring customers into your store. A lot of people are struggling with high prices right now, especially on basic home maintenance items like HVAC air filters. It would be great if Ace Hardware could carry more low-cost furnace and air conditioner filters and advertise them clearly as budget-friendly options.
Many stores mainly stock expensive premium filters, but there is still strong demand for simple, low-restriction, affordable filters for older HVAC systems. Offering inexpensive filters in common sizes could bring in repeat customers and help families save money.
Even a small display or promotion for “low-price basic air filters” could set your store apart from competitors.

“Not a big box store shopper but needed some 4x4 white ceramic tile for a DIY coaster project. They had the best price around at .11 cents each. Just picked up a case of 100 which makes it easier to handle. Was having a hard time finding them and I asked for some help. It took us a few minutes to locate them but finally. Then it's self checkout which I don't care for but there was a nice young lady there to greet me and tell me if I needed any help just holler. All went good and she thanked me for coming. Over all good experience.”
