“It's Discount Foods. Old store, but rarely crowded. Short wait time. It's not the cleanest store I've been in, but the produce is the best in town. Especially in the summer. This time of year sweet potatoes and russet potatoes are the best in town. I got 10 pounds of potatoes for $2.99. Much better looking potatoes than the other place.”

“I have to say my most favorite thing about this place is their eatery! They have the most amazing food and amazing prices! It's hard not to go for lunch and dinner every day! I havent had anything I don't like just yet! However dinnertime on the weekends seem to be lacking! Horrible service and nothing ever in stock!I know they have great management in this department, very hard working. I can't say the same for evening shift towards the end of the week. They can hardly be found and very lazy!Otherwise I love their multitude of different options on their groceries! Everything from their flavored sodas, deli options, and produce! They are a bit more expensive, but worth it when you can find a sale or good deal!Can't beat the money off earned for gas as a rewards shopper!I do hate their self check out! Super annoying to try to bag things, being you can't move anything out of the way or even double bag without the register going crazy! Would recommend only going through for very few items!”

“I found the store to be quite a bit more expensive than others in its area. However, it is clean and well organized. I really wanted to buy a bouquet of flowers, but they were all a bit droopy, and on their way to dying, I didn’t think the price was justified. However, they did have the largest selection of coffee creamer I have ever seen.”

“They never have enough cashiers. Leaving your frozen food to thaw. They didn't even have someone to open up the quick out self service area one day. Usually only at the most are 2 open cashiers. USUALLY one. The Cashiers gripe about no one wanting to work there and that they are over worked. Kinda depressing.”

“For a Walmart, this location is pretty decent. They have a large selection of clothing, although I wish the juniors section was larger. They have oodles of clearance racks, so that's a huge plus. The selection of vegetarian food is pretty good. I wish it was larger, of course, but I'm in Oklahoma after all. I probably shouldn't complain too much. At least they have one. The pet aisle is pretty good and definitely beats the Walmart closer to my house. I was able to find my normal pet food that I usually buy from Chewy. This location was pretty clean as well, and the employees I interacted with were friendly and helpful. I really like the amount of self checkout. I hate standing in line for 1 or 2 items, and they thankfully have several self checkout registers that actually work.”

“I think this is the best Walmart in Lawton. Just my opinion. I really like the neighborhood Walmart as well. They actually had several cashiers open both times I was there. The return desk was very slow with only one person, but I guess you can't have everything.”

“I had a VERY bad experience at this store regarding fountain drink refills and an employee's rude refusal to address my concerns. Upon leaving, I believed I would never return to this or any other Stripes convenience store. I also immediately contacted the HQ of Stripes to complain about the pricing issue that led to my negative experience. Lo, and behold, the upper level management not only responded to my concerns in a professional and courteous manner, but addressed the issue within 24 hours. I am so impressed by their attentiveness to customer concerns that not only will I continue to choose Stripes stores for my gasoline, drinks, and snacks; I will actually return to this store on faith that the employees have been adequately informed how to treat customers. Good job Stripes Mgmt!”
