“My wife and I stopped here for gas. We decided to order some cheese burgers from her to keep our return home trip simple. The size of the burger was impressive. The taste was exceptional. It was shocking that the best burger I have had in several years came from this convenience store. The French fries were hot and delicious. If you are anywhere near here stop by and discover if I am exaggerating or not. You will not be disappointed.“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. “Small and a little expensive but it's also kinda in the middle of no where. People were friendly enough and was fairly clean. Didn't use bathroom so don't know about the cleanliness of them. Gas not to bad I think it was 2.99. Face it promotions approved”

Also sold cold beer which was nice ??
The lady working the cash register was very nice and helpful getting live bait and helping us find what we needed”

“I camp down by this place. I dropped by to try the BBQ. It was so good. We got ribs, brisket, bologna, baked beans, pickles, and white bread. It was all so good. White bread is white bread, but I did like the pickles they had. Their BBQ sauce was good as well. I have been coming to Akins Store for years. They used to have a sign that welcomed the family to the area every year of the reunion, so I am familiar with the store and it’s offerings.If you want a great destination fun day, drive to Akins Store, get you some great BBQ, drive down to Sequoyah’s Cabin Museum, picnic there, enjoy the displays, then wrap it up with a drive back to Akins cemetery and see Pretty Boy Floyd’s grave stone.“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life.
