“Healthy Planet is a great spot if you are looking for health focused products in a welcoming space. The store itself is quite large with a beautiful, clean storefront that makes it inviting the moment you walk in. Everything is well organized and easy to find, and the selection is impressive. What really stands out is the staff, everyone I interacted with was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful without being pushy. It makes shopping there feel relaxed and positive, and I always leave feeling well taken care of.”
“I go there oftenly to shop for Halal meat, meat quality is as good as it gets. They have all kind of spices,frozen paratha & few vegetables as needed. It’s not a big shop but you will find all sorts of basic Pakistani items. My brother also needed to pray so we asked them, they were kind enough to provide us with prayer matt and let him pray there. Recommend”

“What a wonderful visit we had to the new location of the Urban Market! Friendly service, mouth watering locally sourced food products and nicely done handmade gift items. I also discovered they have my favourite shampoo and will refill my bottles for me, so green! Can’t say enough about this great store!!!!!”

“Grocery prices are going thru the roof. If you want to save some money do shop here. They have weekly specials, and sometimes they get oversupply from the manufactures or product nearing its due date. Take advantage of this and stock up. I love this place , a little out of the way, but it's worth it.”

I'm from another city, but visit Oshawa and buy halal meats from time to time. Got beef, mature chicken, and chicken kabab. The spices in the chicken kabab felt very good according to my taste. Beef tip: knowing your cut and choosing from them will give you peace of mind.
The staff are very friendly, calm, and cooperative. I'll definitely go there again.”
“Kiera at M&M meats was amazing!She is a younger girl and when I had asked for a recommendation recipe to cook the M&M meatballs with she was on the ball! She had recently tried one of the recipes and was able to provide me with all the ingredients at M&M’s and saved me a trip to the grocery store. “On November 6 i visited deli to buy 500g roast beef that was only on my list Gulnaz gave me a slice of Grandpa Ham to try she said its new item received today i liked the taste and smell of that meat i ordered 500g Grandpa’s Ham as well , excellent customer service strongly recommend metro Oshawa Deli .”

“Overall, it's an okay store. Fruit and veg are hit or miss . 50% rotting , 50% fresh. Depends if you are there at the right time. Last time I was there, 4 or 5 types of bread were expired on the shelf (2 days after being closed for a holiday), so just check your dates. Cashiers are not too friendly but also not rude. Most of the time, sale items are available.”
“I literally was having the worst day ever. I had a pc express delivery expected and there was an error. I called the store and was met with an apology and promise to rectify. Unfortunately there was another hiccup and the store was so apologetic, didn’t make up excuses, told me the truth about the error and promised it would be resolved. My groceries were super late but I honestly don’t care. The team working pc express on January 24, 2026 needs some staff appreciation. They didn’t let me down! I appreciate all you did for me. ?”

The store's clean and organized, with friendly cashiers who zip through lines, and easy free parking in the plaza. TTC's a quick hop too. Downsides: occasional stockouts on popular items, and those unprofessional managers won't budge on pricing glitches—super frustrating if you're short on time. Great for weekly shops, but check dates and avoid peak evenings”
