I find when you go to M&M it not a place to spend time in and shop around. I just find that you get in, grab what you came for and get out. I wish they could change something to let it be more of an experience.”

“When I was a child I frequented this location with my parents, enticed by the promise of Fruit Roll-Ups and Cheestrings. The company which once inhabited this location was once Price Chopper. Much has changed since then but some things haven't. The warmth and good nature of the staff is what has kept me shopping here all these years. On any given day you may hear the produce manager whistling a cheery tune as you decide on which variety of apples appeals to you. He is often there, greeting customers with a gentle tenderness that makes one feel truly welcome. Throughout the grocery aisles, the stocking clerks work quietly and diligently. Occasionally the silence is broken by an uproar in laughter as they push their stock carts past the cashiers and someone cracks a lighthearted joke. Once ready to checkout, you will be greeted by a cashier who reminds you of your super cool, favourite aunt. In the background, a staff member returning from their break brings in a tray of hot drinks for the rest of the staff which elevates everyone's spirit and adds a glimmer of magic to what can feel like a mundane day. You exchange pleasantries with the cashiers, discussing the weather and plans for the day and then you depart, feeling a renewed sense of hope for the day and for humanity at large. These small pleasantries should never be taken for granted as they are the foundation of a community with heart. Downsides: occasional stockouts on popular items, and those unprofessional managers won't budge on pricing glitches—super frustrating if you're short on time. “Overall, it's an okay store. Fruit and veg are hit or miss . 50% rotting , 50% fresh. Depends if you are there at the right time. Last time I was there, 4 or 5 types of bread were expired on the shelf (2 days after being closed for a holiday), so just check your dates. Cashiers are not too friendly but also not rude. Most of the time, sale items are available.”

“Update: like others have mentioned since it was taken over and renamed again be careful when purchasing things. I now steer clear of the meat. Used to have amazing fresh cuts and good thick cuts of steak. Cuts are now skinny and some meat looks off. Check expiry dates and also be weary as prices can be more expensive than other stores. Still a good place to pick up a few things in a pinch.
******Great store to have in the neighbourhood for quick little shop. They do have good deals in flyer and that don't show up in the flyer. Some prices of things in the store are higher than if you went to other grocery stores so just be aware. The only thing I wish is that they would change up the deals in the flyers more often. Every time I get the weekly deals flyer in my email, they pretty much reuse the same flyer. They don't switch up what is on the flyer much.”
“This FreshCo has really good prices and deals. They didn’t really have much in stock for meat (maybe because the prices were so good). I have 4 stars because there was a staff member restocking shelves and every time he dropped something he would get really mad and start swearing at himself. It seemed at times he was having an argument with himself which made me and my family feel a little uncomfortable. I think this employee needs a little more training on proper etiquette when on the floor rather than dismissal.”

“This grocery store has been our regular grocery shopping store for 10+ years. We have been to others in area but we definitely prefer this location.
Parking is plentiful and has easy access and is in a plaza with a lot of other stores that we regularly visit (dollar store, halendas, great clips, convenience store and many more)
The store is always very clean, well lit and lots of room in the aisles. The layout makes it easy to shop for all your groceries. The health/healthier food aisle is pretty well stocked.
They have a good amount of cashiers as well as self checkout. We usually go in the early morning during the week as the weekend days can be busy.
They always have a good rotation of meat on sale each week.
They always have what we need for our weekly grocery needs and I haven't ever seen any of the staples out of stock.
This store has a dedicated aisle for healthy/organic grocery items such as coconut milk, almond milk and bobs red mill items (too many more to list).
Staff is always friendly and willing to help and answer questions.”

I purchased two right before close with groceries.
Called and called and called and called and called as the lady ( beautiful soul ) asked of I wanted the reciept as I went through twice and I said no .
I called to get her ro confirm as we talked about coffee mate type thing and where to get the cookie flavor .
She would have remembered me
Again ive called probably 7 times and no answer . I live close to bowmanville so I don't want to travel back without speaking to manager first.”
