“What a great business! I had two tires both with minor damage that looked like they would need replacing. Or at the very least a repair if it was even feasible given the proximity to the shoulder.
Walked into Kanata wheels and they had to look at them right away. Rather than looking to sell me new tires, they took the time to leak test/pressure tested them. Instead of replacing or repairing, they confirmed that they were both well within expectations. No need to replace, and they wouldn't even take any money for their time.
Can't recommend highly enough!”

“After THREE YEARS of trying to get multiple mechanics to figure out an issue with our Subaru, we finally found this shop.
We were given every explanation under the sun, including blaming grocery crates for noise. We even went to the dealership, and it went nowhere.
These mechanics listened, took us seriously and test drove the car multiple times until they found the issue.
I also felt completely respected as a woman, which unfortunately isn’t something I’ve experienced everywhere.
Couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend!”

“Update: 6 Sept 2026Had to replace my tires on my lawn tractor, tried several hardware stores and small garages, but only this location of KAL Tire actually has the tool to remove and reseat the tires on small utility rims. So glad to have gone back to them. Excellent service as always.
I have used Frisby Tire Kanata for over 20 years; periodically for wheel balancing, rotation, repair of a flat tire most recently, repair to tires on my garden equipment, and to locate rims for a utility trailer. Service desk was always welcoming, top notch work, estimates very close to charge, and always ready when promised. If a problem was encountered (locating hard to find rims) they would inform me quickly and provide an new date when known. Excellent firm, glad to have them nearby. I give five stars because it has been consistent good service over such a long period.”

“My brakes went metal on metal over the weekend and i needed them done quickly because I was paying $60 a day for a rental. Oscar went the extra mile to get it in the shop and took a look at it within an hour (would have been quicker but I forgot to give him the lick for the wheels). Unfortunately the back was gone too because I had skipped the maintenance. Oscar explained everything and even walked through what parts he was ordering and why. Then gave me the best price available. Work was completed the next morning when parts arrived and they did excellent work.Finding out your car needs expensive repairs never comes easy but Oscar has integrity and has earned my trust for other upcoming repairs.
