“I’ve worked in the auto industry for over 20 years - mostly in dealerships- so I’m very particular about who I trust with my vehicles. After moving into a different field, I needed to find a shop that was honest, reliable, capable, and genuinely committed to doing things the right way. After years of being disappointed by various places, I finally found Powell’s.
This is a true family‑run business with Dan at the front desk, and his sons Tyler and Matt in the shop. They are exceptionally skilled, straightforward, and fair in everything they do. Their integrity shows in every interaction and every repair. I drive past at least six other shops to get to them, and it’s worth it every single time.
If you want a shop that treats you honestly, does excellent work, and genuinely cares about its customers, go to Powell’s. They’re exactly the kind of people you hope to find in this industry. Not to mention the prices are beyond fair.

“After THREE YEARS of trying to get multiple mechanics to figure out an issue with our Subaru, we finally found this shop.
We were given every explanation under the sun, including blaming grocery crates for noise. We even went to the dealership, and it went nowhere.
These mechanics listened, took us seriously and test drove the car multiple times until they found the issue.
I also felt completely respected as a woman, which unfortunately isn’t something I’ve experienced everywhere.
