“This place brings me and the whole family joy. The owners care so much about their clients. They live in the neighbourhood, and it show, They go out of their way to stock the shelves with what the community wants. Sometimes, when I'm waiting for my wife, the shop owner will come out to give a little treat to our puppy.”

“Truly one must go to Thornhill for the bigger versions of their local stores. Being used to the Galleria back in Oakville, this one took me by surprise. It's HUGE! And has lots of the same stuff, just more off it, PLUS a bunch of resraurants inside and a full taiyaki station.
Worth checking out.”
“This is my everyday place. it's close to us, and I LOVE the deli meats, and the butcher counter. Great options for grocery, so friendly! I love that they're always speaking italian, make it all feel more authentic. That's what you want from a local grocer, especially Italian. That they know their stuff. The pasta selection and cheese selection is amazing! The Euro household stuff too, it just takes me right back to Europe! if you live nearby, it should be your daily market. Great local spot.”
“I really like all the Galleria supermarkets in Toronto. The produces are unique and fresh. The reason I don't go there much is because of the prices of being high for many fruits and vegetables in comparison to other basic grocery stores.
But the people are very nice and helpful. It makes a shopping day much nicer.”

“This place is like the polar opposite of Costco and to me that's wonderful. Amazing variety of foods, the produce selection is quite vast. I'd you're someone who willing to try foods you've never seen or heard of and possibly even question its an earth food, come here. Their premade meals are great. I bet you could have a different dish each night for a month and then some”
“Josie and Gord are community staples. Picked up some ribeye for dinner and it was greatly marbled. They’re super friendly and the prices are good for the quality! Will be coming back often”

“I discovered this little place today while out for a walk. I noticed the displays of fruit on the sidewalk- and I crossed the road to check it out. The prices were good- so i shopped.
I spent $15 and got a bag full of fruit (green grapes $1.99/lb!).”
“The best Serbian/Balkan store in North York and Scarborough area. I came here craving cevapi but unwilling to drive to Mississauga to the more well known Balkan stores.
The cevapi is just as good, and they’ve been the only store I’ve seen so far that serves red onions instead of white, which I find to be much tastier.
Their lepinje is also delicious, and they sell the most popular brands of various different foods like pickled peppers, ajvar, and kajmak.”

“I have just moved to North York, and walking distance to Leo's market. It's a beautiful, European style little market but provides everything from gelato icecream to fresh sandwiches, salads and hot, delicious food to satisfy all diverse tastes ? It's also a wonderful place for cakes and cookies and delectable pastries! My delight was finding fresh vegetables and fruits, and a variety of breads with a deli and fresh fish, chicken and other meats, and so much more! All the people who work there are friendly and super helpful. I recommend that you visit Marcheleo's Market and you'll be tempted to shop there everyday!”

“This is the store I do 90% of my grocery shopping at and it is good. It is always clean and tidy. They have all the departments in the store spread out nicely with a great selection. Pretty much anything you'll ever need for home cooking you can find here. My only complaint would be that they usually don't have enough people working the cash registers, so lineups do tend to form.”

“The overall quality of the fruit here is exceptionally high. I first visited this place after my parents recommended it to me, and ever since then, I’ve stopped thinking that fruit sold in Canada simply doesn’t taste good.
I was genuinely impressed by how fresh and carefully organized all the fruits and vegetables were. The way everything is displayed and maintained is not something I often see in Canada, and it immediately stood out to me.
The prices are definitely higher than at most other stores, but considering the quality of the produce, I personally think the higher prices are justified. When the quality is this consistent, I don’t mind paying a premium for it.”

I don’t shop at this Metro regularly because I generally find the prices higher than some other grocery stores in the area. However, whenever I do come here, I find it to be a very clean, well organized and pleasant supermarket with a great selection of almost everything.
The store always looks fresh and nicely arranged. The produce, bakery and other departments are presented very well, and everything looks appealing. There is a good variety of products throughout the store, and I have always found the staff friendly and helpful.
One of the main reasons I end up coming here is when I need something for a special occasion. It is very handy when you suddenly need to pick up a cake for someone’s birthday or another celebration. They also have a very good selection of flowers, which makes it convenient to pick up several things for an occasion in one stop.
The location at Kennedy Commons is another advantage. It is right near Highway 401 at Kennedy Road, with ample parking, so getting in and out is quite convenient.
Yes, you may pay a little more for some items compared with other supermarkets, but you are also getting a clean store, excellent selection, fresh and attractive displays, good staff and a very convenient location.
Overall, a very nice Metro and one that I especially appreciate when I need something for a birthday or special occasion.”

I have not ordered freshly cut cheeses on-line for many years as I have almost always been disappointed with the quality regardless of which store I had ordered them from. I was in a pinch and took the chance and was extremely impressed with all of the various pieces especially the two types of brie. There’s an impressive selection of kosher meats, prepared foods, baked goods and specialty products, but even as someone who isn’t specifically looking for kosher items, there’s plenty here to browse and discover.
The store feels spacious and comfortable to walk around, which I really appreciate in a grocery store. Prices on certain items can be on the higher side, so I definitely keep an eye out for sales and good deals.
Overall, this is a unique Sobeys location with an interesting selection and plenty of products you may not find at a typical grocery store. You definitely don’t have to be shopping specifically for kosher food to appreciate what this location offers.”

Could you kindly attempt to get the Corporation to install barriers in the parking lot (Sobey's Enterance side), to prevent drivers from backing all of their vehicle's rear onto the sidewalk, taking up 1/3 of the whole path and nearly hitting your shoppers in the process?
Due to how low the sidewalk is, the vehicle's system deems it safe to continue to keep backing. I almost got bumped, and I wouldn't want an elderly person with slower reaction time than mine to get seriously injured.
