“I would like to thank Mathieu and the manager (apologies I have forgotten his name) of the meat department. For the second time they have gone above and beyond to help me get a large turkey for the up coming holiday. I still can't believe their polite manner of speaking with me, their professionalism, kindness and incredible service. These qualities are almost unheard of today. I called yesterday to see if they had any 20lb frozen turkeys which are hard to find. Mathieu asked me to hold and he would check. He did indeed check and returned to let me know they had some and that they would be getting in more. He said they would be pricing the turkeys today and he would give me a call to confirm. HE CAME THROUGH, he called and I picked up the turkey shortly after. I highly recommend the meat department at Indpendent and the entire store. I believe employees at this store work hard and do their best to help their customers. I have been frequenting the store for 6 years since I moved to the area and I have had great experiencew with anyone I have interacted with. Not many businesses these day have outstanding staff like Mathieu and the manager, who go above and beyond, are accountable and reliable. Thank you very much for helping me. Independent came through at Thanksgiving (the manager took care of my turkey) and now Easter (Mathieu did). THANK YOU!”
