“I always enjoy bringing my dog into the Pet Valu at Royal York and Dundas. The store feels genuinely welcoming, and the staff are consistently kind. Manny, in particular, stands out. He’s professional, warm, and creates the kind of atmosphere where customers feel looked after. He keeps us updated on promotions and events, often sending a quick personalized message so we never miss something helpful for our pets. It’s clear he cares about both the animals and the people who walk through the door. The store runs smoothly, feels inviting, and reflects the pride he takes in his work. A visit here always feels like stepping into a neighbourhood space where our pets matter.”

“Whenever we call ahead and tell them what product we’re looking for, we place the order in advance and let them know we’ll be coming to pick it up the following day. As soon as we walk through the door on pickup day, our order is already waiting for us at the counter. The customer service person is always incredibly polite. They’re never the same person, but every single time, we’re greeted with a smile and a short, friendly, and professional conversation. It’s simple, but it makes such a difference.”

“I love this location. Very accommodating and friendly. They have a ray of variety, including a particular dog food that I can not find elsewhere. I am impressed with their inventory. Thank you.”

“The person who wrote the review about the garlic powder in the food has VERY little knowledge on dog food and what dogs can eat. Garlic is not toxic to dogs. Onions are. Do your research before bashing this company who knows what is safe and balanced for a dogs meal. Look up Dr. Judy Morgan and read all about garlic for dogs.”

“I was fortunate to have my previous doodle for 17 years 💗. In 17 years I never did find a groomer I liked! It was always a surprise picking him up. Was he shaved naked? Does he look like a poodle ? I finally started grooming him myself for a few years. I was recommended to Pet Valu by a neighbour when I first got my new pup three years ago. Claire is an amazing groomer! 5 Stars! She listens to you to be sure the groom style is what you’re looking for, without making assumptions. She’s not terrified going to see Claire, and she’s very calm when picked up, waiting patiently. Most importantly, she’s not there for hours and hours while one groomer may work on multiple dogs, as I found with many groomers. She’s always ready to be picked up within 2 to 2.5 hours max. The employees at Pet Valu also deserve 5 stars ⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐. Always professional, knowledgeable, friendly and kind.”

“I am happy with this No Frills store; the staff is friendly and helpful, the produce is fresh and varied, as is the meat. They have great sales and carry most of the PC products we like. There is plenty of parking and it's very close to home. This store definitely satisfies our everyday needs.”
