“I came in to the store today to pick up food for my roommates cat. I wasn't sure what I needed to get or where to find it. Thankfully, I was greeted by a very friendly staff member, Nicole, who was able to immediately bring me to the correct section and run me through my options. I found Nicole to be very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the care of animals, which gave me a lot of confidence that I had come to the right place.

“Everyone who works here is absolutely the best. I switched pet stores just to come here for the staff. They always know my dog and what treats he likes (he’s picky)
And whenever I say to him, do you want to go get treats ? He only heads in the direction to leaside pets and not his previous store. He doesn’t even take treats from the other store anymore. I think it’s safe to say, he is a king and they treat him like one here. They are also very knowledgeable in regards to any product. They sell only the best. “Just started using Just Raw pet food about 1 month ago all the food is great except I find the duck has small bones in it and my dog spits the small bones out of her mouth which is great because I don’t want her choking on these small bones. They are quite sharp as well.”
“Warning for online Orders: they consistently ship out incomplete orders, make sure to specify in note to contact if incomplete, this is the only cause of my -1 star.
Ordered online and happy with the quality of each frag as they look to be pest free and algae free for the most part, unfortunately one of my items didn’t ship but I ordered two of it anyways so I guess all is good.
Note:I once placed an order with a bunch of corals listed at $0, don’t expect to get them but did expect a call or email and a laugh, instead got nothing and no corals, so technically my order was not filled, they also ended up being super grumpy about it and had some not so pleasant things to say, I’m not mad about it but really disappointed as they could have handled this much better, it’s not my fault they had it available for order.”

“Wonder experience, the employee/ owner was very knowledgeable about fish— I purchase 3 beautiful fish, a tank and everything I needed and every single step of the way she was educating me! The things I needed she explained to be how to use them and why you need to do it and the quantity , she even stayed on the phone with me while I was at home setting everything! Conveniently located downtown on Spadina! Huge aquarium location with a lot of different fishes and other things like real plants- I was very satisfied and just added 3 little guys perfect entertainment for my cats . Thank you so much”

“Meet Hazel! She's a 3 year old Selkirk Rex who occasionally needs a haircut. In this current heatwave we decided to take her down to a Teddy Bear cut. This is Hazel's second groom with Wendy at Nimoosh and while I'm delighted with the results, Hazel rebels by sticking out her tongue. Hazel has curly hair so finding someone who knows how to trim her hair and have a cute end result is an absolute delight. I cannot recommend the team at Nimoosh enough for cat grooms. If I could give 10 stars I would!”
“I took my beloved medium-hair cat in for her first groom ever and they were fantastic! She can be a bit spicy, but they did such an excellent job and she came back so fresh, clean, and shiny! She wasn't grumpy at all when she came home and was back to normal in no time!
I am so grateful for their excellent care and they really took their time to do everything I asked, including a bath, brushing, sanitary shave, and nail trim. You can definitely trust that they will treat your pet as their own, and they were so wonderful every step of the way, even reassuring me when I phoned to check in and see how she was doing.
All in all it was a fabulous experience and I couldn't be happier. Highly recommended - definitely come here and support this local business :)”
