“Staff are welcoming and helpful and they go the extra mile to get you what you need. The store has plenty of selection and I always find exactly what I need.

Edit: The last 5 or 6 times I've been here, the staff have been heard cursing / swearing loudly - often with children in the store. Maybe not a huge deal to some, but this is a workplace, with kids present - sad to hear this going on.”

“Decided to check this store out and was recommended by Nicole, who was very knowledgeable, to try the Acana brand of food for my cats and they love it. She also recommended some healthy treats that they never tried before, and it was perfect. (Their prices are super great especially for the high quality). I've shopped at other pet stores before, but between the excellent service, good selection of high quality products, all for a price that doesn't break the bank and keeps my picky cats happy (especially my orange cat) I will be continuing to shop at this location specifically. Couldn't recommend any other pet store and employee more.”

“I just want to start by saying, Pet Valu is my go to pet store. The staff are friendly and they really do care for your pet. I've tried taking my GSD other places for grooming and they've all turned him away because he's a little reactive. But Kimmy and Lee did not turn him away. They welcomed him and made him feel safe. They did an amazing job in grooming and they even threw in a couple treats to make him even more comfortable. I'd highly recommend going to see both Kimmy and Lee to anyone looking to get grooming done on their pet. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Thank you guys so much and you'll definitely be seeing me again!”

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Sharon and the team of volunteers at Paws and Tails Adoption, located inside the PetSmart Argentia location. Having to surrender my cat was an incredibly emotional and difficult decision, but Sharon handled everything with so much compassion, patience, and understanding. She truly cares about the animals and the people involved.

Sharon went above and beyond to ensure my 5-year-old cat Romeo, was placed in a loving, safe, and suitable home. Knowing that he is now with a great family brings me so much peace and comfort. She kept me reassured throughout the process and treated Romeo as if he were her own.

“I've had great experiences at this pet smart with finding products, training, and all the staff there! Every staff member I've met has been super helpful and kind. I've been to this petsmart a lot over the years for both my cats and dogs. It's my go-to for reasonably priced pet essentials.

Most recently, I've been to petsmart a lot for their training courses. It has been a great affordable starting point to learn more about training my puppy and developing a relationship with him. The trainer Celeste is super kind, helpful, and passionate about dog training. I know she will be there to answer my questions and always adapt to each individual dog's needs. I've been to the beginner, intermediate, brain games, and advanced classes here, and I've definitely gotten my money's worth. Celeste goes above and beyond for the dogs in her courses, and I honestly did not expect such support from just the local petsmart training. I highly recommend using this as a starting point for training, or if you've already trained your dog, the advanced class is great for checking if they can get certification like the Canine Good Citizen.
