“Reading these reviews, I’m disappointed in the public. Has anyone ever thought about the other millions of things these workers have to do in a day? From what I’ve gathered, stock rotation is a lot of work and takes a long time. We can’t expect these workers to be doing more than what they are getting paid for. Just because the meat that’s on the flyer sale isn’t on display the moment the store opens in the morning doesn’t mean they have poor staff or management. Anytime I have been at this Metro I’ve only had great experiences. I believe they have the freshest produce and flowers in town. And people who complain about the high prices? You get what you pay for, Metro sells the cream of the crop, while the other stores like Walmart, get the lower end stock. If you want low prices for your groceries, go to Walmart or freshco, just know that you aren’t getting the highest quality.”

“Excellent assortment of fresh produce and groceries. The in charge of the Bakery was helpful and approachable. The store is kept tidy. There is always something on sale here. We came from Brampton for an appointment here and did a quick shopping and while leaving we picked up some sandwiches from the Deli ready-to-go section. We all loved the quality of the food. Acton is fortunate to have this store. I'll shop again here.”

Then someone told me to head to Longos. I didn't just get the dip I wanted, I got all my specials in one pack. Very fresh and tasty and super rich for less than $6. Plus I got other fresh vegetables, super yum pineapple 🍍 (the best I've eaten in 3 years...trust me I have bought from a lot of stores), even the banana was way cheaper than I imagined, fresh vegetables and very sweet and pleasant helpful staff.... I have always passed but I've just found my new store 🎉🎉🎉”

“Yesterday evening, around 8 or 9 PM, I went to buy a fancy flower bouquet. Unfortunately, there was no one at the flower shop, so a kind lady named Samantha escorted me to customer service for help.
To be honest, there was an attendant there who didn’t even look at me and simply said, “It’s closed.” Samantha had already finished her shift and was on her way out with her handbag. But when she saw the look on my face, she put her bag down, came back, and personally helped me pick and beautifully wrap the bouquet.
That small act of kindness meant so much. Samantha, you are an absolutely amazing employee and, more importantly, a wonderful human being. The world needs more people like you—people who genuinely care about others.

“Stocked, clean, high quality food and best cut meat available never to busy. Still my favorite love the Bakery and the staff that goes above and beyond for freshness. While Costco only sells frozen cheesecake now, Metro has fresh strawberry, cherry or mutil fruit topped options with 2 sizes the Large for under $30 and now mad rush always calm and great staff.”

“On Tuesday, December 30th I visit the Metro store number 83 located at Trinity Commons mall. Just wanted to share my wonderful experience. My mom asked me to get her up a lotto Max ticket, and I didn’t understand how to purchase one. I got frustrated and I started to leave. Precilla saw me and asked me what was wrong? I told her the situation and she told me to come back so she can show me how to play. I was so surprised that someone was willing to help as we don’t get these type of service anymore. She was so kind she took her time and she had a long lineup. She handled it very well. I must say I have never experienced amazing customer service in my life. Because of Precilla, I’ll be shopping at Metro and purchasing my lotto tickets at the at the customer service desk.

“Love This Dominion/Metro . . I've Been Shopping At This Location For Over Thirty Years. I've Seen Some Renovations Done Over The Years Which Were Beneficial. It Is Now 2024 And This Corporate Store Looks Very Very Aged And Tired. In 1978 The Largest Dominion Store In Canada Opened It's Doors At The Meadowvale Town Center Location. Wow, That's Forty-Six Years Ago. From What I Heard A Few Years Back This Corporate Store Was To Be Completely Renovated From Top To Bottom . . Never Happened . . Hopefully One Day Corporate Will Do Something To This Old Girl To Make Her The Proud Store She Once Was Forty Six Years Ago . . Cheers . .”

“I love this Freshco , everyone is always so helpful. Just did self check out and had a 50% off sticker on one of my items and forgot to take the money off the product. On my way out the women helping at the self check out pointed it out and asked Bhavini , the cashier, to help process my refund. They went above and beyond and it made my day.
