“They are a good neighborhood grocery store where they have most of everything that you are looking for except Bothwell Cheese Gouda. I looked the store up on Google, and it said that they had the cheese, so I went there to look for it, and unfortunately, they don't carry it. Great store and friendly people that work in there. Excellent service!”
“I can’t believe I’ve lived in Kingston for 13 years and have been missing out on this gem. I wandered in today on my lunch break and was immediately surprised with the quality and variety of products. Everything was well organized, stocked and easy to find. The staff were so knowledgeable and friendly. I appreciated the extra mile they went with me to discuss the history of some of their products. I will be back very soon with a bigger bag!”
“I didn't stay in Kingston long enough to have the leisure to visit the business, but the window caught my eye. For those who don't know, it's a small grocery store offering mostly Chinese products. Apparently we can find some pretty unique stuff there!! So, tell me some news!”
“We moved to the area about 6 months ago and My fiance always went to Circle K, I went a couple times but their staff was so rude I hated going so one day I decided to see how far it was to Store Famous and turns out we are equal distance from Circle K and Store Famous but the staff at Store Famous are so much friendlier, the cashier even engages in conversation with my extremely talkative, over energetic three year old., and they have a great selection of stuff and some things you can't find in other places ❤️ prefer them over any of the local little shops*** it's asked me if this location has changed and no it's still as amazing as ever ♥️”
“I was very pleased with my service today. The lady was kind, efficient and was able to answer all my absurd questions about products. However I couldn’t help but overhear the conversation being had with an uber driver. I have never seen someone ask for help so rudely and talk down to a worker. The young lady was directing him to all the correct places but he just kept denying it while raising his voice. I remember hearing him say “what do you do when a blind person comes into the store” this behaviour is so incredibly rude and infuriating. I just wanted to say that I had an amazing experience at this location and that the lady handled the situation so very politely and mature. I have shopped at M&M’s for a long time with my mom and to see the workers have to get treated like that is horrible. Something needs to be done so these uber drivers don’t feel so entitled for someone to do THEIR job.”
“Wonderful place. Lots of fresh halal meat options beef, lamb, chicken, quail, duck, turkey, and organ meats as well. More than a dozen types of fish. Lots of spices, also Shan masala. Loads of traditional sweets from Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, Turkey and Gulf. Great people who run the store. Cooperative and polite. Home delivery available for orders above $35. Now I will get meat from this place only.”

“I LIKE IT! It's cheap because there are NO frills, unlike Loblaw's, which has many frills and very expensive. I'm not a frilly kind of guy - I just want food. No matter how frilly it is when you eat it, the frills are gone when it comes out the other end.”

“The store doesn't have a PC optimum section like the one in the Kingston Center but they had a good selection and even carried German Chocolate Cake which the other location didn't carry.”

“The convenience of being open late and the nice variety of products, is reflected in slightly elevated prices, but worth it. Apparently understanding cash handling is no longer basic knowledge, when a cashier can't subtract $6.50 from $7.50 and make my change. So maybe a basic course or test prior to hiring would be appropriate, so that the skill level of the staff matches and the price point of the store”

“I’ve driven past this spot on Montreal Street for years and finally stopped in last weekend. I was pleasantly surprised by the sheer variety packed into such a modest building—it’s definitely not your typical shiny grocery chain. The produce prices are unbeatable; I grabbed a huge bag of peppers and some local apples for next to nothing. The only minor thing is that the aisles are a bit tight and it feels a little cluttered, so you have to dig a bit to find the gems. But for the authentic Italian staples and that friendly 'neighbourhood' vibe, it’s totally worth it.”
