“With my Salomon boots having reached the end of their life after 20 years, I was in the market for a bombproof pair to replace them. Having moved out of the GTA and shopped at Sanction when they were Boardzone, was really glad I made the hour trek from north of the city. Showed up with the family, and were pleasantly greeted as soon as we walked through the doors. Making our way downstairs, I was still within earshot of the cash, where I heard a genuine "thanks for shopping at Sanction" to the customers who had just picked up some gear. There was one sales associate who has helping a young couple with some boots/bindings, and it was clear they were very patient in addressing their questions, and walking them through their options. Jack approached me and after sharing with him what I was in the market for, he suggested a few options. I never once felt like I was being "sold" and he offered a number of insights, and was very knowledgeable. True to Sanction's philosophy, it was evident that this shop is "run by riders for riders." In a day when it's easy/convenient to shop online or pop into any big name retail store, there's something to be said about a local shop that offers the latest gear, amazing/approachable/knowledgeable staff, and competitive pricing. “Every every time I go to the store, I have an amazing experience with their very knowledgeable and helpful staff.I have been for different times over the span of the last two weeks getting skiing and snowboarding equipment for my wife and I and every single time we were helped very quickly and they helped us with exactly what we needed. I even needed to come back to make a return, and Beatrice was extremely helpful, and she made it very easy for me and I didn’t need a receipt or anything because they have all of the records there at the store. 6/5”
“If you need goalie equipment, this is the place to go. The photos on their website are real. They have more stock of goalie gear in the store than multiple stores we have been to. The staff were very knowledgeable, and the selection is awesome.I definitely recommend The Goalie Crease .Gord.”
“Best part of Travelling all the way from the Downtown Core was to be assisted by an associate named Archit, I explained what I was looking for and cost concerns and he suggested the best shoes possible. It allowed me to purchase two pairs one for indoor performance and outdoor. They do not work on commission but I HIGHLY SUGGEST ASKING FOR ARCHIT! Your feet & wallet will thank you!”

“I’ve been coming to Bass Pro for many years and they have absolutely great staff. They are always helpful and are very positive. There was a younger gentlemen who usually works the the camping section (short blonde hair) who is always polite and helpful but I forgot to get his name, and Ian, an older gentlemen who is also very helpful and charming, they both have great knowledge about camping and product knowledge which is very important and helpful for someone who doesn’t know as much and wants to know more. I also don’t really write reviews but I was so impressed by their positive attitude that I felt compelled to write them a review. Overall, the store and the staff are very positive and outgoing and it makes me love to come to Bass Pro even when I don’t need anything.”
“Sometimes public inventory isn't always accurate and it's wonderful when an employee searches their database to get me the correct size and location. Although I didn't catch the young ladies name she's working right now 5:30 pm Mon Feb 12.... at Vaughan location. “Great exchange and return policy. Bought the wrong size from them, brought it back in past the return period, but was able to exchange them for a discounted price. Got the right size and free sharpening, but unfortunately the person sharpening them took off the toe pick at the front. Went back in a few days later and got them exchanged and sharpened for free. Great customer service, I’ve recommended this place to other people as I can see they care about their customers. Will continue to buy from them in the future :)”

“Exceptional service at the service center today. Jason was kind, professional, and timely. When I asked him for extra consideration to make my daughter's bike less wobbly because she has sensory issues his response was, "Say no more." He came up with a solution immediately. The result was me ending my day with a smiling child who rode a bike solo for the first time. She was fearless and even crossed the road with bumps to go and show off to the neighbor. “I was helped by a very nice young gentleman this past Thursday. He was able to find me a pair of soccer shoes for my daughter in the exact colour scheme she wanted. This was a difficult task for finding the right size for a 5 year old. He also helped me with getting an XS shin guards that just slip in the socks. It was exactly what I wanted but couldn’t find at SVP. Incredible service and the price was way less than what I expected to pay. Second time I’ve purchased from this store and have not been disappointed. It’s very refreshing to have solid customer service! My daughter was so happy with her shoes that she couldn’t wait to try them on. First kick of the ball and she almost broke a window in the house. I couldn’t have been happier.”

“We wanted to avoid the Black Friday madness on the actual day, so we came to shop the day before. There were already many promotions on clothing and footwear.After browsing the footwear aisles, I tried on a few pairs of running shoes, but they didn't fit right. I pulled one last pair from the sale racks along the walls, and these were much better.There were quite a few sales staff roaming around. I didn't require or ask for any assistance, so I'm not sure how helpful they are. There were a few cashiers, so the wait in the checkout line wasn't too bad. The cashiers seemed to be a friendly bunch.”

“I'm fairly self-sufficient and don't have a high expectation of the customer service level from young adults. I can usually find in-store deals by simply looking around.I inquired with a one of their staff for the location of the clearance size 12s and he helped me accordingly. I checked the selection didn't find anything interesting. On my way out I saw the same individual and asked about a certain shoe. He stated they didn't have any in-store and to visit the online store. He also offered other similar models, but I was mainly interested in the ones I was looking for.After the secondary interaction, I was on my way out, and he was trying to get my attention while I was nearing the exit door. He suggested that sometimes customers misplace shoes and if I look around I may find something similar. Turns out I found a pair at almost half the price I was willing to pay, so in the end top service. I hope I don't spell your name wrong but, thank you Kayote for your assistance!Good employees are hard to find. Nike and all other company's should always consider offering a raise or a new position to the good ones. Value those who value the business. Finally decided on a pair of On Cloud 5. Craig also introduced me to a brand I had never tried, All Birds, tried on a pair of casuals and decided to pick them up as well. Great service!”
