“I moved to the neighborhood several years ago and this convenience store has quickly become my go too place when I need anything. The family that runs it are incredibly nice and no matter their life situations always greet us with a smile. I read a negative comment on here suggesting that they are intimidating safe n sound visitor's. From my perspective this is untrue. The community needs the drop in center but with it come some negatives. I myself live half a block away and have found used needles out front of my door and once busted someone smoking a substance in the entrance of my building. I've also witnessed fights etc. I'm also unable to let my 17 year old daughter walk alone to the store after 8 pm now because of how some males out front acted towards her. I can understand anyone trying to run a business would have concerns that is located directly beside it.”
“Clean, friendly staff and same owner serving in Owen Sound for over 20 years. It's your go to place in town for lottery tickets, seasonal plants, pet foods and various groceries. They have tons of different pops, fireworks, and a bag of ice at your needs. It's easy to stop by and park at all times.”

“This corner store is a gem! They were initially hesitant about my service animal, but quickly warmed up. Now, we're welcomed with open arms. A truly inclusive and friendly local shop! Prices are a little high, so beware but super friendly. Cashiers and they have just about everything you could need highly recommend shopping here.”

“Chuck and his crew really make you feel welcome, and they stock all kinds of wonderful foods and spices to liven up your cooking!
And snacks? All kinds! There are three usual suspects (chips, candy, and such), and also spicy snack mixes, yummy frozen desserts and frozen flat breads: naan, roti, and many kinds of paratha, which is a flatbread—flaky and tender inside, a bit crispy outside, and really tasty. Just heat it in a pan. Some are plain, some have stuff like spiced potatoes or cheese inside. Total comfort food.
This place is definitely a gem. Come check it out!”
