“Dandelion Foods is more than just a great place to get fresh produce and interesting, healthy foods. It is a group of civic-minded, engaged owners - always ready to help Almonte and the wider Canadian community. Dandelion Foods has generously supported the local event, Reconciliation Through Art, at the Mississippi Valley Textile Museum, Sept. 30, 2024 - an event that answers many of the 94 Calls to Truth and Reconciliation. This events connected the predominantly non-Indigenous community with Indigenous Art, Music, Performance and Teachings. Many thanks to Dandelion Foods!”
“Very reasonable prices. The produce is okay if your going to eat within a couple days, it doesn't stay fresh for more then 3-4 days. Great prices on other products. Not much gf or dairy free options sadly. Staff are great and helpful.”
“Pretty Pricy but good quality stuff for the most part. Watch the prices as other stores almost always will be cheaper. The produce is good but expensive. I would say the produce at metro is one step down from getting it at farm stands.”

“This place was way bigger on the inside than it looked from the outside! Cool convenience store with a mix of regular convenience store stuff and homemade foods. Was very pleasantly surprised to see a great selection of non alcoholic wines and beers. There’s a really nice shop on the upper level with fancier home and personal items like leather purses, Irish wool sweaters, and birdhouses. The baked goods were good — Boston cream was pretty run of the mill, but the cinnamon twist and butter tarts were fantastic. Nice store in a little village.”
