“There is a huge selection here. You always find something you want that you weren't looking for. Prices still pretty good. Lots of seasonal items. 3 aisles of Christmas decorations right now. Some economy items in the food aisle. Nice people working here, efficient service at checkout.”

“Nice locally owned convenience store by a wonderful married couple who care more about their customers than they do about their business. Highly recommended, prices are really decent, and you won't regret visiting honeybee convenience!”

“Smaller location than some of the others in the area and not very stroller friendly as some of the aisles are smaller. You can find a lot of good stuff here. Everything is under $5”

“One of the biggest Dollarama in GTA with the huge custom clothes section, gardening, tolls. The perfect location with huge parking lots. They have very kind staff. Only thing I noticed is the number of the staff is not sufficient with size and verity of store. Overall I am happy with this Dollarama and I recommend this location.”

“I have been spending more time in Richmond Hill as of late. It's mainly because I have been watching Saturday matinee movies at Cineplex SilverCity in this city. Afterwards, I run errands. I tend to shop at No Frills and grab a bit at McDonald's. In the same plaza is this Dollarama. I decided to check it out a few Saturdays ago.In front of the store, to the left of its main entrance, was a female panhandler. She was sitting on the pavement, holding a sign, and asking for money. If you have been reading my reviews for a while, I rarely have cash or change on me. It was the case here.I let her know that I didn't have any change. Being who I am, I asked if she wanted anything. I was expecting a snack or a drink.I got this response:"A gift card," she said.My first reaction: Pretty bold request. I buy gift cards for friends and family. I barely know this woman! I decided to ignore this request.Sure enough. the gift cards greeted me immediately. I didn't even know that Dollarama sold them. I do now!I loved looking at kitchen gadgets and accessories. The silicone bakeware and cookie cutters were awesome. I have a thing for reusable straws. I saw both stick versions with a slight bend at the top and telescopic stainless steel ones. How fancy!I needed crazy glue for an insulated Starbucks tumbler where the two layers weren't happy with each other and separated on their own. I glued them together with it and it worked well. Both Easter and Valentine's Day merchandise were available. It was so weird seeing the former when the latter hadn't happened yet. I liked the chocolates, candy, and plushies for both occasions.I was here for snacks and food. I saw a bunch of Chef Boyardee cans. I used to eat a lot of Chef Boyardee when I was in elementary school. I picked up a few cans to relive my youth. I like that you don't need a can opener. You pull the top off, heat up the contents, and devour. Both the beef ravioli and beefaroni taste the same as I remember them. It's decent to have them in your pantry when you are too tired to cook or you're hibernating when the weather sucks. This store has Vachon and Hostess snacking cakes. Yes to everything!I liked the phone accessories aisle. I travel with a colourful USB cable from Dollarama. It's still being sold. It works well.I got Diet Pepsi and Pepsi Zero bottles. Items tends to start at $1.25 at this store. However, one-litre bottles of these flavours were $1 each. There was a short lineup at this store. I got a woman at the checkout who was nice. She scanned all my items. I placed them in my reusable bag and paid with a debit card. Done!I thanked her and left with my goods. I was happy with my purchases. The panhandler was still outside. She actually moved to another Dollarama in the vicinity the following Saturday. She seems to be a regular at Dollarama stores in Richmond Hill.Other than this woman, I had a good experience at this store. I'd return again when I'm in this plaza.(39)”
