“This store is great! The friendly owners carry a wide variety of everyday household goods, including groceries, hardware, electrical equipment, and some smaller appliances. They also have a back section with a huge selection of essential oils, candles, oils, and holders and decorative displays.

When I moved from Mississauga to Toronto, I struggled to change my shopping routine. It’s a challenge as an inner-city resident because there are so many stores along Queen and King. In today’s economy, trying to find the best deals and places to shop without getting overwhelmed is difficult. Then, habituating back to big box stores like Walmart or Giant Tiger.

So if you’re like me and you’re on the search for a nice community store to get some good fines for great prices then I would definitely check them out”

“A good location with kind staff but it's a bit smaller than most locations I've been to and so there's less selection than larger stores. However, I can usually still find the things I need! 😊

The self-checkouts make the line for the cashier's move faster but it can still take a moment waiting in line, even when there's only one person ahead. I feel there should be one or two more self-checkout kiosks and it would flow much better!”

“It has almost everything, is conveniently located, cheap prices, and good hours of operation. They also have a lot of things like bread, snacks, and supplies much cheaper than places like Loblaws and Shoppers.”

“Owner and staff are always super friendly and if you have more obscure items they don't have in stock, the owner is always willing to try to get it in!
Great prices too.”

“It's such a great place to be. It houses all kind of items such as beauty products, kitchen utensils, toilet wears, snacks, drinks, gift items, stationary and so on.

These items are cheap and affordable. All items in this store, the highest cost of an item is $5.
It's indeed great place to be.”

“I bought an item from the Young and Lawrence Dollarama but it was damaged and not working and it also opened at 9:00am so I came to the ok be on Bayview and Millwood to exchange the item. I was told that I had to take it to the store that I bought the item by a very friendly staff member and then she told me to speak with the manager. The manager came and stated the same thing but she allowed me to exchange it at the store this one time. Super thankful because the other Dollarama didn't open until 9:00am and it's cold outside to wait an hour. Thank you ?”

“My gift card froze at the self checkout and it said the money was taken. The employees helped me get my money back on my gift cards promptly and effectively. Amazing customer service. :) Thank you!”

“It's very big, has planting stuff and summer stuff and baking stuff, but if you're coming with a kid for toys, try not to come to this dollarama because the toys section is small, sometimes items are overpriced, ignoring workers, but overall it's okay.”

“A hidden gem! Stop buying at amazon. This place will give you the best price! They will exchange any products you buy that are faulty. They do have an exchange and guarantee! Don't be fooled by bad reviews that aren't true”

“I don't know why but I go here alot. Things like cards, wrapping paper, chips, popcorn, aluminum containers for sharing food, parchment paper, wire hangers, dish scrubbers, majic erasers, and art stuff. Best place for a bargain.”

3.9 Good54 Reviews

“This is definitely one of the better Dollarama locations I’ve been to when it comes to the actual inventory. The shelves are always fully stocked, and they carry a massive variety of items that you don't always find at other locations. It's organized, easy to navigate, and the staff does a good job of keeping the checkout lines moving quickly.
The only real downside is the overall atmosphere. The store feels pretty dim and gloomy because the lighting is outdated and weak. It really needs a brighter, more modern lighting upgrade to make the space feel cleaner and more welcoming. If they fixed that, it would easily be a top-tier location, but for purely finding what you need, it's excellent.”

“I only bought a reusable bag there, the cashier was really friendly!
The only complaint is I had a hard time finding this place, but this might be caused by the design of this building. It had a really complicated elevator system. Some elevator only goes to certain level, and there wasn't enough signage to lead the way.”

3.8 Good76 Reviews

“They do great in simple products where corners can't be cut. Like glassware, calenders. But everything else's is very low quality. Combined with mid tier prices.
School supplies are similar priced to staples, but with a night and day difference in quantity.”

“Easy access. Parking is good. If busy, consistently have only one cashier. Often have to suggest they call an extra person. Friendly staff. In small strip mall with a Bulk Barn”

“i love bro’s/ brother’s! heads up, no tap on the machine currently. they give me a free chocolate bar or gum if spend $20 or more. they also carry lots of good stuff and essentials like cat litter”

“Large Dollarama and fully stocked and clean, not sure if there’s a lift but it’s accessed by stairs to the basement. There’s no self serve but the staff are quick”

“This store has some of the things I been looking for. I wanted to take a look around the store. I picked up the Jamieson vitamins as what I been to the store from last week. This guy who is an Apo security guy thought I would've took the Jamieson vitamins and put it in my handbag. The answer is no. I wouldn't steal something like that. I go to this store sometimes.”

“It's a huge store, very well stocked. The staff is helpful and the old security gentleman knows the store inside out, feel free to ask him where to find stuff. This location is my goto for Dollarama, too bad it's being shut down sometime soon. Same owners have a new location further west on the northside of Queen and Jameson, but it's much smaller with limited inventory.”

“Since the renovation, this Dollarama branch has become one of the best in the area. It’s well-stocked, organized, and you can almost always find what you’re looking for. Plus, if you enjoy browsing through aisles as a way to unwind, this location is a great spot. Highly recommended!”

“Seems small on the outside but this store is actually fairly big for a downtown core location! I always find what I need, the supply and options really cater to what you need living downtown!”

3.6 Good104 Reviews

“I usually always go to this location but they don't have any of the self check outs open anymore. Slow compared to before. If you're gonna close all the self check out kiosks at least schedule more staff please.”

3.5 Good74 Reviews

“It's a great dollar store, but I wish I had known there was a lot of stairs I would've chosen another one with my 2 year old. They had a lot of good books that other locations didn't!”

3.4 Good81 Reviews

“Great selection of everyday stuff at good prices. Lots of cool crafting stuff. I wish they had signs above the aisles to better navigate, my memory sucks. Lovely, helpful staff.”

“Visited the store hoping to buy a blind box for my little cousin. I didn’t know much about them and only had a photo to go off of, but Mayra (I hope I’m spelling her name right) was truly amazing. She helped me find the boxes, was kind and helpful, and provided excellent customer service. I ended up buying two!”

“Dollarama had everything I needed at good prices.
But....
There are more self serve check outs than cashiers now.
I prefer a person at cash even if the machines are easy to use.”

“11Nov, 11am. BIG thank you to the amazing Dollarama staff member (lady) who stood at the store entrance politely signalling customers to observe silence. My hats are off to you. If only other shops - in the mall and surrounding the mall - followed suit. I am not a veteran but have the greatest respect for them.”
