He was awesome. He took the situation very seriously and was trying to make things right. He shows a lot of care for his people, and customers. He has a lot of passion toward the community.

“Balout Supermarket is a gem for Persian groceries in Richmond Hill! They have everything you could need—from Persian delicacies and snacks to essential ingredients for authentic recipes. Their ready-to-BBQ marinated kebabs are absolutely fantastic and make hosting so much easier.
I recently did a grocery haul here and was impressed by the selection and prices—consistently better than other stores in the area. They even have free Persian magazines at their newspaper rack, which is such a thoughtful touch for those who need to get their reading fix.
The staff is friendly, and the store was clean and well-organized. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for quality Persian groceries or just a taste of home!”

“I had an amazing shopping experience at H Mart and it’s easily my favorite Korean supermarket! The store is incredibly well-organized, spacious, and spotlessly clean, making it a pleasure to browse for hours. The selection of authentic Korean groceries is outstanding—from fresh kimchi, banchan, and a huge variety of gochujang and sauces to premium cuts of meat, seafood, and an impressive produce section with hard-to-find Asian vegetables and fruits, all looking incredibly fresh.
The prepared foods and hot food bar are a highlight: the banchan counter offers so many delicious options, the fried chicken is crispy and flavorful, and the kimbap and tteokbokki are made fresh daily. I also love the bakery section with warm hodduk and red bean pastries—perfect for a quick treat. The ramen aisle alone is worth the visit, with brands and flavors you won’t find anywhere else.
What truly sets H Mart apart is the friendly and helpful staff. Every employee I encountered was polite, knowledgeable, and eager to assist, whether it was helping me find a specific ingredient or offering cooking suggestions. The checkout process was quick and efficient, even during busy hours.
