“Come and support this small business/ local pharmacy. There's also a walk-in clinic for kids onsite too. I came here for the pharmacy and convenience items. Great customer service received from Sonya, who was very patient, warm and cordial ( even when I was indecisive). You can Sign up for their Blue rewards to earn points. Theres an ATM onsite and you can also pick up lottery tickets, if that's your thing. There's parking on the side of the property.”

“I went to pick up my medication today and was fortunate to have had the opportunity to meet the Pharmacist - Mark. Right from the beginning, Mark was polite and ready to answer a pressing question I had with regards to my medications. What really prompted to me to write this review though, is the fact that he never made me feel rushed and really took the time to thoroughly explain things to me in detail. Because of his overall kindness and attentiveness, I felt comfortable asking him further questions that I had, never feeling rushed or limited. He went out of his way to print out some information for me to compare other medications, and to also explain how the medication works, its side effects, how it differs from similar medications, and genuinely a lot more. He even gave me his pen (which was shaped as a syringe/needle) because I commented on it saying I thought it was really funny, and didn't neglect giving one to my friend as well!! Haha The reality is, I've picked up several prescription medications from several pharmacies over my lifetime, but this is genuinely (not exaggerating) the FIRST time I've had the privilege of meeting a Pharmacist like Mark, who really cares about the people who come in - and this was only my first time meeting him! I never bother to go out of my way to leave Google Reviews, but Mark honestly left a really good impression and I'm really glad I can say I have a Pharmacist who I know will take the time to answer my questions thoroughly and with kindness, and who is knowledgeable enough to do so! I would also like to note that this is my second time visiting this Pharmacy, and the last time I was there I had met a different staff member, who was also very polite and very helpful! 2 for 2 so far, with zero negative things to say. “Every positive review on this pharmacy is true! This is the best compounding pharmacy in the GTA. I have dealt with several pharmacies- many of them give you less cream than what they say they put in the tubes. Some of the creams just don’t work, then they blame your body for their own incompetence. Not this pharmacy!! This is no mom and pop shop. Their creams work!! They give you the correct amount. They care about their customers so they prepare and ship out medications quickly! Everyone who works there has a great bedside manner. Irena is the best. She is very knowledgeable about the medications. I live in Mississauga and I drive all the way to their location because they are that good. “I had a great random experience at Dara Pharmacy in Richmond Hill. The owner, Dr. Mehri, is a senior pharmacist who is quite knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely caring. She takes the time to explain medications clearly and even provides helpful holistic guidance for duration, dosage and usage of each. The staff are friendly, accountable, and the service is efficient. The pharmacy itself is cozy, clean, and well-organized. Being able to communicate in Persian also made the experience very comfortable and welcoming. Another bonus to be mentioned is the prescription preparation fee which is notably lower than other pharmacies like Shoppers Drug Mart; The latter making it even more appealing. “I love this pharmacy. The staff is so helpful, especially Mary, and they go out of their way to take care of you. They're also super fast. I needed a medication that Shoppers couldn't fill because it was out of stock and they couldn't get it over the long weekend. This pharmacy was out of stock too, but they contacted their supplier and made sure I had my prescription before Thanksgiving Monday. In the past they have also offered to deliver my medication to me because it took longer than expected to fulfill. I will no longer go anywhere else! Support local!”

Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
