“I would like to share a compliment regarding a Walmart associate at the pickup location at 700 Centre St, Thornhill, ON
On December 24th around 4:00 PM, I arrived to pick up my scheduled order. The pickup spots were completely full, cars were coming and going, and some customers were honking and clearly frustrated. While waiting patiently in my car, I took the opportunity to check my email and observed the associate working outside.
Despite working alone during a very busy and stressful time, this Walmart associate remained calm, polite, and genuinely kind to everyone. I overheard him repeatedly saying “Happy Holidays” and “Thank you for shopping” to customers, even as the pressure around him increased. When he came to my car, he continued to smile and warmly wished me happy holidays, despite managing many frustrated customers on his own.
It was truly impressive to see someone maintain such a positive attitude, professionalism, and kindness under pressure—especially during the holiday rush. I hope this associate receives recognition for his outstanding customer service and dedication.
