βWe were having great difficulty finding a replacement for an old exterior door handle that broke. After a few visits and product returns to the big box stores, we visited Toronto Door Hardware today. Mary was incredibly helpful and came up with a solution to our door handle dilemma that works, is attractive looking and was a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this business!β
βless expensive than Canadian Tire with staff way more knowledgeable than Home Depot. Great local spot thatβs always had what I needed. They even let me open the package to try a tool before I bought it! Highly recommendβ
βI always hit Parkdale HH before I try any other place. Staff are super helpful, you can buy screws/nails/washer etc. by piece instead of a whole package, and if they don't have an item in, they'll order it and call you when it arrives.β
βEverything you could possibly ever need for kitchen/baking/foodservice. Itβs chaotic inside with narrow walkways BUT there are treasures in every nook and cranny. Take your time when perusing, there is so much to look at. I hope this place never closes, a Chinatown gem.β

βI love having a neighborhood hardware store. The staff are all friendly and helpful. They have a wide range of stock in a small footprint of a store. You can check online for availability of items before coming to the store.β
βI live nearby and have shopped here about a couple dozen times over the years. The staff here are a bit gruff (maybe gruff is too harsh a word? Reserved? Stoic?), but they're mostly very polite.
What matters is they always greet you at the door, and they always approach you to help you with what you need, no matter what it is. Their advice has always been spot-on. No other hardware store I've ever gone to had staff that ready, willing and able to help.
I love that they sell screws individually and all their screws are Robertson (?) too, cuz I'm sick of stripping or camming out on Phillips head (+) screws.β

βRoman Bath goes above and beyond for the customer's experience. Yolanda helped me and she was extremely knowledgeable on different kinds of kitchen faucets providing me the pros and cons of each. She understood exactly what I was looking for and got me answers in an instant. Compared to other retailers Roman bath is also competitive in their pricing. I am from Niagara and will be going back to Roman bath in future for my kitchen and bath needs. Thank you Yolanda and team.β

βStopped in to get a small irregular replacement screw for a lock I bought there 10-years ago. One look at the photo and he had a replacement in my hands in under a minute. This is the expertise I love in a neighbourhood store.

βMy cohorts and I have spent millions here over the past 20 years. I like the crew that works here. Low turn over in the staff. These people have no problem looking after contractors and the average consumer. Well stocked store. Damn good lumber yard. You can order all kinds of custom tiles, fixtures and flooring. They have moved all of the business to the Morrow Street location. Pricing is fair and competitive. You want it, they got it.β

This is my fourth visit to this Home Depot location, and every experience has been excellent. The staff here are consistently professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. Whenever I need information or assistance, they take the time to explain everything from scratch and guide me patiently.
In the past, I have interacted with several staff members, including the manager, and everyone has demonstrated a high level of professionalism and customer service.
Today, I visited to purchase painting materials and was especially impressed by Ms. Susan at the paint counter. She provided outstanding support, clearly explained my options, and helped me choose exactly what I needed within my budget. Her guidance made the entire process easy and stress-free.
This is truly Canadian-style customer service at its best, and I feel proud to shop at this location. Highly recommended. WOW!β

βBeen going to 5 home depots for the past 6 months for a major renovation and ranking them all now. Have very mixed reviews for this location but overall good service.
Flooring lady was very patient, gave really good advice and also helped me set up a HD credit card and Pro account.
Most of the other departments had friendly and knowledgeable staff and found the time to help me find the items I needed.
The lumber department was the only department not helpful. Instead of cutting something for me they told me to go look for something else instead and walked away. If I found something more suitable I would have. That was the only negative encounter at this location.β

The Home Depot at Gerrard Square is a valuable and convenient stop, especially with plenty of parking in the plaza. The store offers a wide range of home improvement supplies, making it easy to find what you need for most projects.
One downside is that it can be hard to find staff on the shop floor when you need help. You often have to walk around looking for assistance, which can be frustrating. Improving staff visibility or availability would make the experience much smoother.
Overall, itβs a reliable store for selection and convenience, with room for better in-store support.β

I am one those guys that had a lot questions an they gave me dummy proof answers! Thank you to the entire staff!
