Loblaws Eglinton Avenue is a valuable store for the neighborhood, but it operates with compromises. The small size of the store means the selection of food, products, and services is limited compared to conventional or regular-size Loblaws stores. Shopping during busy periods can be challenging due to the narrower aisles and increased customer traffic. Checking out during peak times is also a challenge, as not all checkouts are serviced by Associates, and the self-serve checkout is often lined up. To get 30 minutes of free underground parking, customers can use the coupon code "LOB," though the instructions are easy to miss. Prices at the store can be expensive, with even pastries costing more than $5 and meat and chicken prices being "unbelievable." The staff are described as "very meh," and the pricing can be inconsistent, with Metro or Farmboy sometimes offering better deals. Despite these challenges, the store is surprisingly clean and has friendly staff, though they seem to be overstressed. The small space can lead to crowding, with a line for payment almost every time customers visit.
It’s ok. Wish it were bigger. I was told today when I asked for another one of their sample foods (there were TONS!!) I couldn’t have a second because they’re too expensive 👀 Then don’t have any samples! ESPECIALLY around dinner time.

They followed the plan exactly as discussed. No surprises, just high-quality results.
