So, I've been ordering from them for a while now—a few times for a BBQ with friends, and one time for the meat I eat in my day-to-day life.
First of all, the meat quality is insane. The steaks are amazing, the bigger chunks are cleaned properly and ready to use (no need to cut excess fat), and even their chicken comes clean and ready to use (unlike other places).
Their customer service is top-notch, and the delivery is great!
I highly recommend it to everybody! Some of my friends even asked me where we got the meat, as it was melting in their mouths.
Will definitely buy again.”
“We come here to get things besides beef: buns, cheeses, sauces, seasonings, bacon, etc. Among the deli meats, we love their homemade roasted turkey breast. Shopping here is a bit of a luxury for our household but their prices are competitive when compared to other stores that sell foods of a similar level of quality. When we do shop here, we appreciate the reliable product selection and consistent quality.”

“It is a little bit difficult to find a chicken liver in Toronto. However, Macellaria Atlas has it. Moreover, the price is cheaper than in grocery stores, as No frils, Metro, etc.Friendly service here as well.”

A couple times I've outlined an upcoming event, or asked for their advice on a dinner idea, and with their guidance always knocked it out of the park. Quality product and people.”

“Sanagan’s is our absolute go-to butcher in East Toronto. The quality is always amazing and you can really taste the difference between meat from there vs a traditional grocery store. The staff are super friendly and always willing to share a tip or two if you’re not sure what to cook. We love the selection here too…steaks, sausages, really great chicken, fresh bread, prepared foods, etc. Every time we shop here we end up leaving with more than planned because everything is soo good. Easily one of the best butcher shops in the city! Pro tip - get a spicy pepperette for the road!”
“Best butcher on Roncy - great service, wide selection of high quality meats both fresh and frozen. They're quite helpful too if you've got questions or want some help. All very high quality even the sandwiches which are made to order and very delicious.”
“Absolutely thrilled with my experience at Di Liso’s Meats! I recently hosted a dinner party and needed the perfect cuts of beef. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to understand my needs. They recommended stunning ribeye steaks and some flavourful flank steaks that wowed my guests.
The quality of the meat was outstanding - tender and fresh. They even shared cooking tips that helped me elevate the dishes. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, making the whole shopping experience enjoyable.

“This is my go-to neighbourhood butcher in the upper Forest Hill neighbourhood. They have really high quality meat and a decent fish selection. The butchers are super knowledgeable and helpful.
Note: this is a kosher grocery store, so they do not have any pork products or shellfish, but I haven't found myself missing any of these things!
They also seem to have a pretty expansive hot and cold deli which I haven't checked out, but it does look good.”
