“A beautiful, full-of-character bookstore that I’ve loved since I moved into the neighbourhood and got the fifth Harry Potter book on release night. My nephew has been a THRILLED recipient of the book-a-month gift (iykyk - if you don’t know … ask). They are a beating heart of Mount Pleasant! They also have a sweet selection of books for adult readers to be tempted while tiny readers browse & pet Mabel. These people know books and know midtown, protect them at all costs!!!”
“Staff was funny, super nice, gave me great deal on some products, would recommend checking them out for some cool merch! Has tons of good spray paints/paint products and some really cool collectables from blind boxes to old sports cards to pokemon cards. Definately a cool spot in toronto to check out. From the pokemon card girl :)”
“We love supporting independent businesses, and Swag Sisters are a great place to score a well curated selection of thoughtful and fun toys and kits. Also, they have Jellycat Plushies.”

“Great store team who love Lego and are very friendly and welcoming. The store manager and corporate leadership team should take note, these folks really are working hard to make the store fun to visit. Great store to do the pick a brick wall at as there is a bit of space at the back behind the cash which gets you out of the way.”

“Amazing Customer Service. Have been looking everywhere for solar eclipse glasses and saw Silly Goose Kid's post on Instagram. Contacted them and bought them virtually! So fast and easy! The owner was very friendly and extremely courteous! I have been in their store so knew these glasses were the best quality. THANK YOU SILLY GOOD KIDS for being so helpful!”
“The best shop in Toronto. I always have to stop by every so often to get gifts for friends or a trinket or houseware good for myself. The shop owner has amazing taste and an amazing collection ❤️ Would recommend to anyone looking for unique or collectible items.”
“Wonderful, friendly, and helpful staff. They all seem to genuinely love the product they work with and know a lot about it. Their pick a brick was is smaller than it used to be, but still stocked with fun pieces. I come to Yorkdale just for this store.”
“I've been ordering my figures here for a few years now, and I can proudly say this is my go-to figure store. The staff are kind and welcoming, and reply quickly and professionally to all communications.
Fair warning, the interior is a liiittle cramped with all the product. Sometimes I feel like I'm going to cause a chain reaction of collapsing waifus (I am big and tall lol.) If the store is busy it is a little awkward to maneuver, but staff will still let you browse and take your time.
Definitely worth checking out if you're interested in anime collectibles and figures!”
“based on the customer service alone I am very happy with my experience. I ordered something on December 23 and I did call before hand, so I knew that the office was closed during the holidays. However I was surprised to get an email to advise me that even with the office closed they could accommodate a pick up. I was so happy to be able to pick up earlier so I could give the the item to my nephew for Christmas. This small gesture especially during the holiday season really made a huge difference.”

“Wide and affordable selection of stationery! The memo pads, postcards, and pens were all cute. Some had practical designs, which is a nice option. They also had non-stationery items like totebags and stuffed animals in the back.”
“Arrrrrr, the pirate ship drew me in. Went here to find some things for my brother's kids. Lots of amazing things for kids and adults. They prices are better then I thought by far. Wish I was able to go in the pirate ship. But can't have it all. Thank you for your toys.”
“Visited the store today! Fairview Mall! Bob and Elizabeth were sooo sooo great. Elizabeth further guided me to some variety as per ages. Very kind in explaining! Here only to give them a shout out!! will be back soon! And as far as the bricks goes! Lego's are Lego's!! Always the best!!”
“This is a wonderful toy store with interactive and helpful staff. It is my go to everytime I visit Toronto and want to treat my little nieces. Thanks Playful Minds for helping an Aunt stay current and get gifts that brings smiles every time. I appreciate your help and understanding of what's current in the 4-7 year old world!”
“Whenever my little one needs new clothes my first thought is to pop by this lovely store. The staff are incredibly helpful and kind and items are very reasonably priced. You can often find brand new clothes with tags on priced way lower than they retail even when on clearance. Items are always in good condition.”
“Indigo is my favorite place to pass time. It has a great selection of books, cozy decor, and a relaxing atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind. The staff is friendly and helpful. I always enjoy my time there!”

“Super friendly staff and great inventory! I’m used to their Montreal Store and I’m happy to see that their counterpart in Toronto has an amazing customer service as them ?”
“So I've been on this hunt for advent calendar stuff and all the stores near me were out of stuck of this book I was looking for. Using the Indigo app (despite how bad it can be) I found this location was the easiest for me to get to. I had a rollercoaster of a day yesterday and I was wandering the second floor for a while, going up and down ready to give up. It was hard to find a worker that wasn't busy (and really I only saw maybe two walking around) as I didn't want to disrupt them. So I decided to grab something and head to cash out and asked at the register if they had these items. I felt at ease talking with the guy at the register, he was so friendly and charismatic with everyone. And many thanks to the guy who found both of the items I had come for (because the app was so unhelpful haha). I wish I lived closer so I could frequent this Indigo more often. Their upstairs section is so cozy by the windows and easy to find, a minute walk from Eglinton station.”

“Such an refreshing experience at the store after getting kicked out from toy terminal, the staff were so friendly and happy to assist us and they have a variety of a good quality games for kids, we bought two nice games and we were assisted throughout the whole process since we didn’t have a lot of experience with kids gifts, The prices are so reasonable according to the quality they also have baby clothings which look very nice. I recommend everybody to support this business and I will definitely be coming back again.”

“The prices are very reasonable. (get your 10 onesies for $10 here!) I've visited a couple of these stores and the size of this one is just right. They value quality over quantity.”
“Great selection of Anime figures. Suggest checking their web site first and avoid bringing any bag into store else you will have to leave at the front. It's a bit over price but worth it for hard to get items.”

“I have been a long time customer, buying all my baby items from Macklem's since 2015. I went back yesterday to buy a new car seat for my fourth baby due in February. Although it's quite a drive from my home (1 hour), it's totally worth it! Their expertise, professionalism and customer service are unrivalled.”
