“With my Salomon boots having reached the end of their life after 20 years, I was in the market for a bombproof pair to replace them. Having moved out of the GTA and shopped at Sanction when they were Boardzone, was really glad I made the hour trek from north of the city. Showed up with the family, and were pleasantly greeted as soon as we walked through the doors. Making our way downstairs, I was still within earshot of the cash, where I heard a genuine "thanks for shopping at Sanction" to the customers who had just picked up some gear. There was one sales associate who has helping a young couple with some boots/bindings, and it was clear they were very patient in addressing their questions, and walking them through their options. Jack approached me and after sharing with him what I was in the market for, he suggested a few options. I never once felt like I was being "sold" and he offered a number of insights, and was very knowledgeable. True to Sanction's philosophy, it was evident that this shop is "run by riders for riders." In a day when it's easy/convenient to shop online or pop into any big name retail store, there's something to be said about a local shop that offers the latest gear, amazing/approachable/knowledgeable staff, and competitive pricing. Thanks guys for the amazing experience!”

“I would like to share my recent experience purchasing a bicycle at 'Station Ski and Ride'. From first contact with Emma on the phone all the way through the sales process with Andy (this guy knows his stuff) and meeting with the owner Mark, it was a great experience. I was treated professionally by professionals !! purchased a DaVinci Milano. Its a very good bike and Andy fit me into it real nice. Its not a top end bike price wise, however; the entire staff made me feel like I had just bought the best and most expensive bike in their shop ! Believe me... they have some really good bikes in the inventory. Thank You. I cannot remember the young fellows name who prepped my bike (that very evening) his name I think might be Alek or Alex... anyways... thanks buddy. Great job from everyone.

“Roger Das is the best. He has helped me for years, whether it is just jeans or a tie, or a whole outfit. He knows all his stock and whether it will look good on you even before you try it on. But where he really excels, is with custom made. He has helped me with suits for both my daughters' weddings. Last weekend, I was father of the bride in a custom tuxedo. Roger helped me with every detail. I felt like a million bucks and even got compliments on the day. The fit was perfect and the little custom elements made me feel like I was truly an individual. Roger is great.”

“Super great neighborhood table tennis club! This is a sister location to their main Mississauga location. Friendly players of a variety of skill levels - knowing how to speak Mandarin or Cantonese is helpful as the majority of the players speak these languages, but definitely not necessary. Don't be intimidated to show up solo, as you will find someone to play with. No water fountain, so make sure to bring enough water. Snacks and drinks are also available for purchase.”
“I'm not super into like army stuff and guns and being manly, however I I love combat boots. Now Doc Martens are like $200 and knockoffs break easily. So I buy my combat boots here because they are made to withstand actual war and it sounds so kickass to say that. I bought used ones because the new ones have very limited sizing. The used ones are amazingly priced and have more sizing options. The sizing can be weird though as I am a women's 8 but my shoes are a 4 (I don't know what gender) so keep that in mind. People are nice and it's always fun to look around.”
