“Subject: Appreciation for Exceptional Service at CostcoHi Costco Manager ,I wanted to share a positive experience from my visit yesterday on 21 Feb 2024. Aryan from the self checkout assistant went above and beyond to assist me. Despite my finger hurting and struggling with heavy items, he kindly scanned everything for me. I wish him continued success and recognition for his outstanding customer service. I hope his efforts are acknowledged by his manager.Best,Afsaneh”

“As a regular shopper at the Costco on Billy Bishop in Toronto, I feel compelled to share my consistently positive experiences at this location. Despite the challenge of parking, which is a common theme across most Costco stores, especially during peak hours, I’ve found that with a little willingness to park near Home Depot, securing a spot is generally not a problem. A short walk is a small price to pay for the convenience that follows. The store itself is commendably well laid out and maintains a high standard of cleanliness, creating a welcoming shopping environment. It reliably stocks all the regular staples I look for, making each trip efficient and successful. Additionally, the staff here are approachable and friendly, contributing to the overall pleasant experience. The Costco on Billy Bishop in Toronto stands out for its cleanliness, layout, and helpful staff, making it my go-to location for regular shopping. It’s great to have such a reliable store within reach.”

“Lots of people buying in bulk here! I have no complaints. It's a bigger Costco first of all, compared to its counterparts in Markham. So in terms of space, it's winning! What really gets me with this Costco however, is that they always have what I need. Maybe because of its size? They are always well stocked and have full of produce. I do find shoppers here a bit more aggressive with driving and finding a parking spot, so I recommend parking farther from the exit and walking over. Other than that, great Costco! I recommend it!”

“This is a large warehouse sort of place with a lot of different things ranging from napkins to floor cleaners. They have dispensers, soaps, plates, etc. I think they only take cash or debit and not credit cards. Inside is a bit messy, but overall, the prices are reasonable.”

“I love Costco. Long after REI decided to stop standing behind their products, Costco still does. They're one of the few retailers that has lifetime returns for non-electronics. It's saved my bacon on a few things over the years that you expect to have a long life but sometimes don't. Example: I bought a e-mower and trimmer (~$750) in Spring of 2022. In Summer of 2023, the dual battery stopped auto-switching. Were it any other retailer, I'd have to deal with the inconvenience of swapping batteries manually, or the hassle of shipping it for repair (4 year warranty). Costco lets me return it. I may wait for summer, when they carry replacements.I also love how they stand behind certain principles (refusal to raise the price on rotisserie or hot dog and drink). I don't even buy these items, but for a profit-driven corporation, it's a rare breath of fresh air.I wish they had a better mobile/web experience, but that's part of their strategy to increase foot traffic. I disagree with it but not enough to stop going. After 12 years of membership, I still learn of new services they offer. For example, in the past month I've learned they have free self service automatic tire air (and it's Nitrogen!). The inflators aren't perfect, but the service people nearby will help if the machines fail. They also offer discounted travel insurance. Also, I love their pizza compared to any frozen or most delivery places. $10 lasts for 4-5 meals.”

“Like any other Costco Warehouse, it has ample parking spots available in front the warehouse and it's a one-stop-shop for all your groceries, home accessories, and gardening. Great variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, meat and seafood, dairy products, deli, etc. You just need to choose the time of your visit wisely as it's busier during afternoons/evenings and you need to stay in lineup for checkout or you'd have trouble finding parking spot.”

“I stumbled upon this place on Instagram at a time when an online bag purchase had just fallen through. Sigalit was responsive and accommodating to help me either rent or buy a bag, and come in person to try it on before buying. In the end, I bought a beautiful vintage piece in great condition. It was super easy and personal— I think vintage shopping is best done in person! I will def be back for my next premium purchase. Great experience.”

“It’s very convenient to pick up medication from costco - drop off prescriptions, shop at costco, come back to pick up medicine. It usually takes about 30min to get medicine ready. Also, the prescription fee is always low!”

“First off I can't speak for everyone else that's had a bad experience at this location, but for me personally for the most part it has usually been good.I'm only giving it a 4-Star rating as there are issues; for instance:1) parking is hard to find on some occasions(generally Tues nights seems to have lighter traffic) or if you need to pickup something quick, then 15-20mins before they close is quite easy.2) even though express checkout has been added recently in the past year, there should be something to direct traffic as most customers lineup not knowing their are actually two separate lines.3) the pharmacy is quite packed most of the time, but some instances during rush hour it could have 1/2 customers lining up if you keep an eye out during your shopping; the fees however are cheaper and if you just want to pickup prescription then it's effective(not sure about the other services as never tried). All in all it's a good store that provides the products and services I need for where I'm located(compared to Markham & Scarborough sites) and they have an easier return policy compared to the aforementioned stores.”

“I recently purchased my winter tires from them. They did a good job. They also put the old tires in a plastic wrap and put it in the car. The only problem with this place is that they are too busy and they don’t have enough staff for instance, they never answered the phones, and most of the time there’s a lineup when you want to talk to the front desk I’m getting information. The work was done adequately, and in a timely manner. The staff I interacted with were very helpful, but obviously very busy and under a little bit of stress. They communicated with me when they had questions and the tires were replaced within the time period they initially stated.”
