“My family and I, visiting from the U.S., were quite troubled by extremely loud brake grinding during our 4-hour drive to Canada. Worried about the rest of the trip given that we had another 1,000 miles to drive, we took our car to Nello's to have the brakes looked at before continuing on.
Nello was extremely understanding of our status as vacationers with an agenda to keep; he was helpful to a fault. He called when he said he'd call with the diagnosis, and his pricing to fix the vehicle was very fair. (He could have charged us double what he'd normally charge, and we would have said yes given our situation, but he charged us what I consider to be normal given the same fix at our local mechanic.) He had his in and out same day, and we couldn't have been happier.
