“Nice and clean store. Good selection of products and meats. None or frozen fish. A bit more expensive when compared to stores like freshco or Walmart but much better quality, specially on the meat department. Can be busy at times depending on when you visit, best times seem to be during the week early in the morning. Free parking.”
“Best sausages bar none. Every flavour I've tried has been delicious. I love that Link Haus suggests foods to have with them and adds drink pairings. Love love love Link Haus.”
“A great family owned business that always goes the extra mile. Whenever I need any meats, I email them and it's delivered in a day or two. I'm too lazy to build my own shopping cart? No problem, they take care of me. Love this place.”
“This is the best butcher around! The T-bone and porter house steaks are so tender, you can cut them with a butter knife. The artisanal sausages are absolutely delicious as well. Silvio, Martin and Antonietta are very friendly and helpful.”
“As a lover of cheese, I had heard about Cheese Boutique in Toronto's west end by way of a dear friend who previously worked there. Due to time and circumstance, I had never made the time to explore it, until now.
My first impression was that of Fatos Pristinë (the patriarch of the family-owned business) welcoming me in the middle of Ripley Avenue, inviting me to stay and watch the Euro Cup soccer matches that Sunday afternoon in their Sports Tent. That, and the custom-decorated Fiat 500 (my favourite car) at the front of the store, made for a wonderfully positive first impression.
Once inside the store, I discovered cheese from the two heritage regions where my father was from: Pecorino Sardo (Sardinia) and Mozarella di Bufala (Campania). The Mozarella di Bufala was a bit pricey ($10 for one ball), but it was the creamiest most delicious ball of cheese ever made - Heaven.
Another joy was discovering racks of olive oil from Sardinia. Usually, it is difficult to find even one brand of Sardinian olive oil in stores, but Cheese Boutique had more selection on two shelves than what I ever saw in the old country. Fatos joined me again for a bit watching the Switzerland-Germany game (ended in 1-1 tie).
At the end of the soccer match, I left Cheese Boutique with the same sense of longing as when leaving my family overseas, with a promise that I will return, again and again. Grazie mille per tutto. Faleminderit për gjithçka.
P.S. Thanks to everyone who helped me obtain the book "For the Love of Cheese", and to meet the author himself Afrim Pristinë.”
“Lots of variety, and nice store, friendly staff I have bought lots of products and mostly am happy but a few times I have got meats that tasted off. Please just double check dates . I bought turkey and it was packed on the same day as best before..my fault for not looking but meat was spoiled. I have purchased pork that smelled off too. I had to throw it unfortunately”

“Honestly, I was in the area, looking for a local butcher shop. Came across Bradley's amazing Lamb chops and coloumbian style sausages I picked up. They were excellent on the bbq. I will for sure be back!
Customer Service was great”
“Best butcher in the city!

“Hole in the wall korean butcher. So many kimchi and banchan options which are reasonably priced. The frozen meats and marinated meats were pricey in my opinion. Would go back for special occasions/dinners.”
“This Japanese wagyu beef butcher shop is hands down my go-to spot! The quality of the wagyu here is unparalleled—every cut melts in your mouth and tastes incredible. Whether it’s A5-grade or other premium options, the marbling is always perfect. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, always ready to recommend the best cuts for grilling, hotpot, or anything in between. The shop is clean, well-organized, and it’s clear they care about maintaining top-tier standards. I don’t bother going anywhere else—this is the only place I trust for top-quality wagyu!”
“Hands down the best meat shop in Vaughan! Joe is incredibly welcoming and takes the time to explain everything. The quality of the meat is top-notch, and you can really tell he takes pride in what he offers. Highly recommend if you want fresh, high-quality cuts and great service.”
“I never appreciated smoked meats and cheese before, not until I tried their products! I love everything I bought from them. Will definitely buy again and recommend it to my family and friends!”
“I make the trek to BlossomPure every few months to stock up on their products. The excellent customer service, high quality products, and packaging are the reasons I return. If you are fortunate enough to stop in when they have samosas available for purchase make sure you try them, made in house and delicious!”
“Was very helpful on the phone when I called in to get some harder to find items for a dinner. Pick up was painless and the staff were very friendly. Definitely will use again.”
“Marco and Lui are absolutely amazing! It's always such a great time seeing them.
I can't say enough good things about this place! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by Marco and Lui, who are super friendly and knowledgeable. They truly care about their products and customers. I am always super impressed with the quality of their meats. My family and I have been coming here for years, and every time I leave with exactly what I need, plus some great recommendations for new cuts to try!
What really sets Maple Meats apart is the attention to detail. Marco and Lui take their time to ensure every cut is perfect, and they’re always happy to give tips on cooking or preparation.
If you're looking for premium meats with unmatched service, this is the place. Every visit feels like a true treat, and I leave knowing I’ve made the best choice for my meals. Highly recommend.”
“Butcher’s that care. They are happy to vacuum seal meat including complimentary seasoning. As someone who sous vide this is very helpful as I don’t need to buy a proper vacuum sealer.
Service is friendly, knowledgeable and all their pre marinated products are excellent. Their fresh burgers are excellent as well although a touch pricey at $5.
My only real complaint is they aren’t open mon to Wednesday. I’ve tried the larger butchers and really appreciate the smaller size of this butcher. I previously wrote they did not carry burger / hot dog buns. They now do, perfect one stop shop to bring good stuff for a friends bbq or a quick meal!
Support your butcher before they’re all gone!
I get a lot of compliments on my sous vide / bbq and of course it all starts at the source.”
“I’ve been going there for over 20 years , food is amazing kabab, chicken… I sent probably over hundreds of people to the store through out the years and they are now regulars .BUT lately prices are high specially fresh meatU can’t put prices away higher that the other meat markets in the area !! I know everything is up but ur prices doesn’t make sense”

“It is a little bit difficult to find a chicken liver in Toronto. However, Macellaria Atlas has it. Moreover, the price is cheaper than in grocery stores, as No frils, Metro, etc.Friendly service here as well.”
“They have what I go there for. For me the location is convenient. The emloyee(s) are very helpful. A very clean place. Meats/eggs are fresh. It's nice to have this service in this area. I feel good knowing they are here and I can pick up meat(s)/egg(s)from this store.”
“If it weren't for my parents I wouldn't know where to get proper seasoned steak meat. Sure the owners are a little spicy lol but they do joke around too. Love this spot”
“I had such a lovely experience at Leone Fine Foods today. I came in looking for bone marrow, and not only did they have exactly what I needed, but the woman working there went out of her way to kindly chop it up for me something that felt so personal and thoughtful. You can tell this place cares about their customers and takes pride in quality. The service was genuine, the atmosphere welcoming, and the products are top-tier. I’ll definitely be coming back thank you for making my day!”

“Sanagan’s is our absolute go-to butcher in East Toronto. The quality is always amazing and you can really taste the difference between meat from there vs a traditional grocery store. The staff are super friendly and always willing to share a tip or two if you’re not sure what to cook. We love the selection here too…steaks, sausages, really great chicken, fresh bread, prepared foods, etc. Every time we shop here we end up leaving with more than planned because everything is soo good. Easily one of the best butcher shops in the city! Pro tip - get a spicy pepperette for the road!”
“Been going to this butcher shop since mine closed down 9 years ago. I've tried other butchers closer to me and was not thrilled with the quality. Than I stumbled upon this place. This place is top notch when it comes to friendly and knowledgeable staff. Ali and Kevin are amazing at their craft, they can get whatever product you want and prepare it as desired. Susan's baked goods are delicious. Everything is fresh and price wise, it's not cheap however you get exactly what you pay for. You can't expect to buy a steak here for No Frills pricing with their quality. I've recommended this place to everyone I know for high quality proteins. AAA grade indeed. Try the in-house seasoning for your protein, you will not be disappointed.”
“Best place for fresh meat in Toronto with cheap prices. We saved money with it. I dont care about driving 50 min weekly to go here. I love ur store ??????”
“The staff was incredibly helpful and insightful. Clean, beautiful shop with knowledgeable and kind staff. A wonderful retail experience. Looking forward to the next time we need meat so we can come back again.”
