“I would like to say thank you to both the store managers and employee Garrett who allowed me to fix my truck in their parking lot after my lower ball joint decided to shred itself. I would also like to say that without Garrett's knowledgeable help, and his willingness to block off part of the parking lot with his truck to ensure that I wouldn't have gotten rear-ended or ran over while working on my truck. Otherwise my truck would have been there until some point where it could get towed this weekend.
And every time I come into the store it has always been a enjoyable amount of spent time away from home. Thank you all again.”

“This was our first experience with Parr lumber. They were helpful, professional and polite. Went in to find some previously issued truss drawings that we did not know much about. They (Ken) were very helpful in explaining things and giving us what I needed as well as explaining how the process worked.

“This is the newer Albany Home Depot. They have an employee named Karl or Carl or Coral from The Walking Dead. This last weekend, he was rocking quite possibly the sweetest mullet I've ever seen. He said "hi" to me nicely and I almost fell in love. Store was well staffed, cashier was courteous, and they seemed to have a full stock of the items we were looking for. Unfortunately I'll never give any Home Depot 5 stars because I worked for their Distribution Center in Salem for a short time (where dreams go to die) and all I can say is that when you know, you know. Nothing personal.”
“I just had the most exceptional customer service at Lowe's in Albany, Oregon. We had a very large order waiting for pickup and there was a problem with our banking institute so the order could not be released. This started 2 days ago and Sara, who I assume is a supervisor, stepped forward and helped in ways I never seen happen in any store before. She not only told me what had to be done, got on my phone and talked to the person I was dealing with, even offered me some ice water while waiting as it was in the 100's. I was told the order would be ready for pick up the next day so when I arrived I figured everything was set. Ashleigh, at the pro desk, was very helpful but needed some confirmation on things and low and behold guess who showed up to get the transaction done -Sara. She handled everything in a timely manner and showed so much compassion. I highly recommend a big raise and promotion for this gal. She was fabulous. Thank you Sara, Ashleigh and the loading crew!”

“I went in to trade in a cylinder from another supplier not nearby, at my local welding store( not Airgas). It ended up being a very frustrating experience. The local store was helpful, and friendly, told me they couldn't accept it, as it was stamped in such a fashion that it would be indicative of a rental bottle.I called Air Gas and sent them pictures. I also contacted the exact store/old supplier I purchased the bottle from, and sent them both pictures. Both Air Gas and the one I purchased it from, said it was clearly a private cylinder from the hydro/dot stamps on it and were surprised it was questioned.The staff was super friendly, and asked me about what I was working on. I do most of my shopping online, but for my welding needs I will go here in the future since it was actually a good time. Ended up buying some more stuff while I was there.Thank you Air Gas Albany, you guys rock!”

“Thank you to the Young man in Deli doing the BBQ out front. He helped us 2xs in 2days and we are from Hillsboro Oregon. We enjoyed the Brisket he cooked and got a whole one on Sunday to bring back. The Cashier was very helpful and Very polite and caring. The lady in the liquor part was little off until we started buying multiple bottles of different things that we had to learn how to make a old fashion drink. Thanks for the Help. This is a very nice IGA and stocked very nice. So sad I forgot to come on Saturday for the Deals but came on Sunday for a Whole BBQ Brisket. Thanks.”
