“I'm on day 11 of a newly adopted cat, and Matthew made maintenance of my dishwasher easy. I've lived at Arya for 10 years, and my dishwasher has never had an issue. Of course, it started for him, but he wasn't dismayed about the unnecessary visit. He did tell me 30 seconds of switching the breaker off would do a hard reset. I'm making appointments because of my new cat, and Matthew called while I was on lunch and came over. Excellent service!”
“Just a quick update as I continue to live here 7 years after this review was written. Everything below continues to hold true! The fact I am still here after 7 years proves it. I do want to add that I am disabled and I am very grateful for the staffs help and understanding as my needs can be different from the average person. The staff continue to do their best for any of those needs. They have been exceptional.
Amazing staff!! Great grounds! Great Apartment! I moved from Chicago and they helped me step by step to make sure that everything went incredibly smooth. Once moved they made sure I was happy with the apartment. I had a few issues and maintenance was very responsive and everything was fixed. I am a for life renter and it all about the service and Center Pointe has it!”

“My grandma had a good experience living here almost 10 years, buildings could stand some updates by now but still a good place for a tighter budget. Be mindful of no built in AC in the summer time, but lots of trees kept her unit pretty shaded and cool for the first 7 years”

“These apartments have been hear for a long time and they have remodeled the units. I’ve been renting for 5 months now and it’s been pretty quiet at night . They keep up on the landscaping and keep it clean and the recreation area is awesome. The manager Mrs Rodrigues is easy to get along with and she’s on top of what goes on at the apartments. Having a manager that’s easy to get along with is important if you ask me . Best part of living there is you got all stores in walking distance and max station right next to us , that’s a plus if you have no car. Loving it .”
“I’ve lived at the Union at St. John’s since January. There are many wonderful things about living here, but the highlight is by far seeing Mt Hood AND the St. John’s bridge from my apartment. I live in a 2 bedroom with my partner and our 2 dogs. We have plenty of room for living comfortably and a storage unit down the hall from our apartment to house our unused items. There is a lovely patio, garage parking, a nice community room and gym, there’s a dog washing station and monthly resident repurpose and recycle events. The apartment is really quiet except for street traffic, but it’s to be expected in the more urban setting. We love the aesthetic of the building, the attentive maintenance staff, the location (walking distance to several parks and Lombard street), and most importantly, this building is full of friendly people and adorable doggos making it feel like home. If you’ve never been to St. John’s, it’s a great little community with everything you need nearby/within walking distance, access to disc golf at Pier Park, Chimney park for the dogs, lots of restaurants and bars, several grocery markets, and the most beautiful bridge in all of Portland. I highly recommend The Union at St John’s!”

“It’s a great place to live. Staff are friendly, and maintenance work is done promptly. If I had to pick an area for improvement, I would say cleaning of the stairs - power washing even just once a quarter would be great.”
“I lived here from 2015 to 2021, and I loved it. There were some annoyances like weirdly small kitchen drawers, but I've come to see that all over Portland, so it's not just this building. I miss it but I don't miss my commute.”

“I don't understand the bad reviews. I've been renting here for 2 years and have had no issues besides maybe some HUMAN errors. This management has left us alone. Isn't over bearing, gives proper and formal written notices for any house work/increases, ect.I've really only dealt with Angie and she's amazing. I highly recommend this place because of her. She's made everything so smooth for us since day one.”
“Excellent apartment complex I don't understand any of the negative reviews? I am a pretty new resident but the current manager is such a great person very professional and listens to anything you may need, her husband does some of the maintenance and is a kind person as well, the location of these apartments are excellent can barely hear the busy roads nearby and its extremely quiet and peaceful here, the inside of my unit is in great condition very spacious as well. ?”
“Management is really easy to get in touch with if you have questions, Tiffany is a amazing manager. Me and my wife were interested in a storage unit, due to some amazing luck a garage opend up and she let us know about it, loved the amazing customer service and highly recommend giving the place a look.”
“We've lived here for almost 2 years. It's a quiet complex and I feel relatively safe living here. I like that a carport comes with our unit. Open parking for a 2nd car is a bit tricky sometimes but not impossible. Guest parking is almost nonexistant, especially on weekend nights. The complex is very close to the Max stop so it's easy commuting. We have not experienced roach issues, but our unit is on the top floor and is not close to the wetland area so that may be why. We have had seasonal beetles, but nothing major. It's a pretty quiet apartment, but again we're on the highest floor so there is no one above us.Rent increase was not absurd, about $100 for month to month. Water and other utilities bill back at around $80-$90 depending on the month. There's been some car theft issues (catalytic converter) in the back parking lot, as well as some folks poking around the dumpsters, but not as bad as Portland in my opinion. Staff has been communicative.All in all I've enjoyed my time living here.”

“I lived in apartments #316, for five months. It was very nice, an easy commute to my work on SW Gemini. It was summer, May till October, we spent many a happy evening around the pool and most mornings I hit the gym at 7:00 for an hour and enjoyed listening to NPR station on the radio there. Highly recommended.”

“I've lived here with my gf for more than 3 months and it's such a wonderful little community right here! Dixie and Meghan are up to date and involved with the residents and they do events every month or so that involves prizes! I can't speak for other units, but where we're at, our neighbors are so kind and quiet and for the most part everyone minds their own business here. Definitely a nice area to live in for sure :) Parking is a little funky, but if you don't mind walking a little distance if you have a 2nd car then it's nothing too big. But overall, wonderful apartments!”
