“This store is so lovely. They have a variety of birdseeds suitable for the local bird population, a wide variety of bird feeders, and some really lovely outdoor decorations along side some really cute nature themed items. This is a really great spot to stop by if you're looking for some garden items and you want to support a local business”

“Still going strong after all these COVID and other years. Gayle and I stopped in a couple times to look over the magazine rack, ponder some cool art cards, check out current releases, peruse the Travel section, admire the wall art in the coffee shop, and consider up coming author readings. In other words, Bloomsbury Books remains a vibrant community hub. The only thing missing is a cat.”

“What a beautiful vibration this space holds. Eclectic, magickal, spiritual healing are a few words that come to mind. Good pricing on literature. Definitely recommend. This place has something for almost everyone. A huge variety of tarot decks also.”

“Magical little bookstore ✨️ targeted for children but great little treasures for all. Check out the vault in the back with YA and Fantasy! It was lile walking into a little forest cove.”

“I love a book store with lots of nooks and crannies, chairs tucked in corners, and occupied with customers quietly reading. I picked out an old science fiction book by a favorite author from the "rare" books section. My wife found an unknown but interesting book of fiction, thanks to "Linda's recommendations."”

“In May of 2023 my publisher asked me if I wanted to create an audiobook version of my wild edibles book. I said: “Hell YES!” Shortly thereafter, I was slated to go to San Francisco or Portland to record the audio. I was reluctant to travel to either place because it would’ve cost thousands of dollars in gas and hotel stays out of my pocket. Instead, I suggested we record everything at Blackstone Audio in Ashland. This worked out beautifully and saved me heaps of dough!Blackstone Audio is a top-notch recording facility located in a beautiful, mountainous town in Southern Oregon. My commute from medford to Ashland was a motorcyclist’s dream. In total, I sat for five five-hour recording sessions in one of their state-of-the-art isolation booths and got to know the place well. I was paired with a friendly/professional audio engineer who was instrumental in a successful final product (shoutout to Josh B. ?).Basically it was a magical experience all around! ?‍♂️Thank you Blackstone and thank you North Atlantic Books! ?It’s also worth mentioning that many great books were recorded at this facility and it was an honor for me to sit in the same chair as some of my heroes.Lastly, my wild edibles book is now available everywhere (if you want to check out the quality). ?”
