“Wide variety of books. Well stocked and great organization. I loved the staff recs/reviews on some of the books. I even snagged a book I wouldn't have known about simply because of the staff's review posted with the book.”

“Found this on my road trip back down from WA/OR to CA after my visit at the Japanese Garden, Lithia Park. It's the cutest book store I've ever seen so I hope I can drive back up here some day :) I enjoyed looking around in this charming little store.”

“This is my favorite bookstore in Medford. Emmalee and Victoria are great to deal with and I almost always find a treasure there. The atmosphere is inviting and is no pressure from anyone to hurry or purchase if you don't want to. I highly recommend.”

“I Was looking for a specific toy for my granddaughter. And a woman helped us for quite a while. She hunted everywhere and she finally found one!! I was so excited. She was very good and stayed with the project even though it was a very busy store at the time we were there. I also bought a puzzle that was very unique, enjoyed doing it! I told the manager about the woman that helped us.She didn't seem to care at all. But I certainly did”

“This is a perfect bookstore. Some used books, some new, some old and charming. The range of sections is amazing, and there are comfy chairs scattered about, so you can sit a spell and see what you really want to take home. Just fantastic. A must!”

“Unique membership library of various tastes, traditions, and observations. An active Media Exchange, where excellent titles await to be exchanged for another book, a donation, or a smile. Come down, find your Rabbit Hole, and get your Book on.”

“This is a wonderful non-profit bookstore! You can donate your books here and you know they will do everything they can to keep them out of a landfill. This is the only place I donate books now. After you donate, you can add to your book collection! Books are more than fairly priced. The store is lovely and well organized. All the volunteers are friendly and helpful.”

“This is a small bookstore compared to the other bigger Oregon Universities. However, that does not bother me. This bookstore has a lot of merchandise—but it can also be a little pricey. However, I like that they do have a lot of nice items on sale and I like that they have different payment options. I do feel the in-person bookstore has a lot more than online…but then again, I should understand that the current students should have first pick at clothing, hats, and materials they like. I just wish I lived closer so I can go to the bookstore randomly… as I do love the institution I graduated from. I know it may sound cliché, but I really did meet a lot of nice people here that I will never forget…and this is technically by definition, my second home. With that being said, I hope one day to maybe…if I am lucky…have a little vacation home in Ashland :)”

“In May of 2023 my publisher asked me if I wanted to create an audiobook version of my wild edibles book. I said: “Hell YES!” Shortly thereafter, I was slated to go to San Francisco or Portland to record the audio. I was reluctant to travel to either place because it would’ve cost thousands of dollars in gas and hotel stays out of my pocket. Instead, I suggested we record everything at Blackstone Audio in Ashland. This worked out beautifully and saved me heaps of dough!Blackstone Audio is a top-notch recording facility located in a beautiful, mountainous town in Southern Oregon. My commute from medford to Ashland was a motorcyclist’s dream. In total, I sat for five five-hour recording sessions in one of their state-of-the-art isolation booths and got to know the place well. I was paired with a friendly/professional audio engineer who was instrumental in a successful final product (shoutout to Josh B. ?).Basically it was a magical experience all around! ?‍♂️Thank you Blackstone and thank you North Atlantic Books! ?It’s also worth mentioning that many great books were recorded at this facility and it was an honor for me to sit in the same chair as some of my heroes.Lastly, my wild edibles book is now available everywhere (if you want to check out the quality). ?”
