“I had no idea there was an Asian market around Beaverton that specializes in Filipino goods. For a store of small size, U-Need has a lot of what one may need to make Asian food at home. I wanted to buy some Mirin at a cheaper price than what is offered at Fred Meyer's and easily got some here, along with instant Pancit Canton. They have a lot of good snacks worth checking out and prices are fair. Staff is friendly and helpful. I'll be back for more.”

“I like the bakery selection the most, as well as the premade food. Also the plants are very cute. A little over priced I think but I like to stop by here every once in a while”

“The parking lot is crazy on a weekend, but that's not WinCo's fault. The store was super crowded, but again, not WC's fault. Love their prices. Super friendly cashier.”

“Bargains galore. More variety of products than you might expect from brands other than Reser’s. I leave with almost more than I can carry, for about $10 every time.”

“Family owned, better than 711 by far. Great selection of alternate gets, I frequently buy pipes here for cheap. Anytime I have ever been short $, they graciously looked the other way - I've never been to a business like that, I paid them back right away but I can't vouch enough for this locally owned business!”

“This is an ok Mexican store. It's really small and tight. The produce is really hit or miss. I used to love coming for the produce cups but they're now always either cut up into the cup not ripe enough or too old. Lots of snack options. Their piñatas are good from what I remeber buying last year. The piñata was very durable!”

“I'm fortunate enough to have a Grocery Outlet within walking distance, making it *the* local destination for groceries and some household items.
Between special purchases and a steady inventory of staple goods, I can sustain my household with Grocery Outlet.
The store is continuously improving, and I see and appreciate that.”

“Top tier guacamole; It’s incredibly addictive. At $6.99 a pound I’d say it’s worth it for the convenience and taste. It’s tasty enough to dip right into, repeatedly.

I also bought tamales; one of each kind. They are big and they’re $3 but they’re mostly masa. The sauce inside of the chicken tamales is really good.

The store is well stocked with lots of fresh ingredients that are used in many traditional m, age-old recipes. The produce section is worth a look.”

“La tienda Palacios, has a very good service. The cashiers are very friendly and know how to pay attention to the products we were looking for. I was pleasantly surprised that, apart from having the best variety of products from Mexico, they also have a great selection of products from Peru.”

“I love the store, but the one in Lake Oswego is better. One thing in this Beaverton store shock me, they don’t sell organic green produce. Not even Romaine lettuce. I have to buy it in Fred Meyer or Safeway.”

“So I went to Aloha halal market to get some Ingredients to surprise my friend that was coming over to visit. They do have a dietary restriction which only allows them to eat Halal Food due to religious purposes. So I couldn't just go to Winco or any regular grocery store to get these specific halal ingredients. So I came here to find all the ingredients I needed which I did and I learned so much on the internet about what it means to be Halal.Halal is an Arabic word that simply means lawful or permitted, but generally refers to what’s allowed under Islamic law. It’s the opposite of haram, which means prohibited. Some things are very clear-cut halal or haram, however, as with a lot of religious law, other things can be open to interpretation. So I need to buy some meat that's why I couldn't go to any regular grocery store because for meat to be certified halal, it must be slaughtered in a manner known as dhabiha. That means to drain all blood from the carcass. In Islam, the consumption of blood is considered haram/not-allowed. A Muslim must recite a dedication known as tasmiya or shahada during this process. Not all meat can be made halal, regardless of how it was slaughtered. Animals that are always haram/not-allowed to eat include:Pork and its by-products are strictly forbidden,Donkeys, mules, and horses, Fanged animals (cats, dogs, bears, etc),Birds of prey,Reptiles and Some other animals such as monkeys.Overall I would recommend coming here if you are like me cooking for someone who has a restriction on food of the religious purpose, or you yourself are in the religion and just want to come and find some Halal Ingredients.”

“Besides a vast selection of Middle Eastern products, especially Iranian, Afghan, and Pakistani, they also regularly make fresh bread rings, date-filled bread, and something similar to a pizza for a very good price. Keep in mind that the breads are very sweet, though just the sesame bread ring alone is better than most donuts I've had in Oregon, so I suggest getting them for breakfast or dessert.
They also make many different kinds of sweets like cookies and jalebi.”

“Pretty good store, close to my home and it's not too busy. Would love if their produce wasn't always about to go bad but it makes sense they would go bad with them not being as busy.”

“do a lot of pick up n go orders, they're always so kind about it. will promptly and carefully load your items. naturally, some items go out of stock, etc. and staff does a great job coordinating alternatives when/if available/requested. typically ready for pick up way in advance which is convenient. wait isn't usually long and i dont mind since they're already doing me such a HELPFUL favor.”

“Good stuff in mass quantities.
Prices are up. Tortillas might be cheaper at Winco. Still good deals on tasty varieties of potato salad. Found a good new one, Pommes de Terre.
Nice, quiet relaxed shopping to pick up a few things. Friendly host.”

“My wife and I refer to this location as "the nice Fred Meyer." Access is decent with multiple ways to enter and exit the parking lots, there is a large area to cue up for the fuel center and the aisles are organized in a reasonably understandable way (compared to other Fred Meyer's). So that you don't wander around like I did, the one downside is there's no electronics center and no photo services.”
