“Tim took excellent care of my 1964.5 Mustang. I had tried to replace the transmission pan gasket three times and could not get it right. So I took it to Tims Aatco transmissions, and he explained everything that needed to be done in excellent detail. I parked my car yesterday at 4 o’clock in the afternoon in my garage with a clean drip pan underneath the car. … And this morning there was No leaks whatsoever. I will strongly recommend Tims Aatco transmission to all my friends and family and especially Friend here in Hillsboro that has a 1956 Ford Thunderbird that needs a transmission service. “This shop was recommended by a coworker as a fair and reasonable shop that does good work. The engine on my 2012 Subaru blew a rod. The shop initially said it was not likely worth replacing. Rob looked into it further. Found a few options. Provided a detailed invoice and answered a lot of questions. The shop was not only efficient and timely in replacing the engine but I felt they were honest and fair. The mechanic that worked on the car shared his thoughts and concerns on pick up and a couple days later helped us with a belt that was acting up. “I am extremely grateful to Jim and the team at Beaverton all transmission, after one shop quoted me seven grand to re-build my transmission. I decided to get a second opinion, and had my car shipped out from Portland to Beaverton and Jim told me that was not a necessary job. My car did not have a transmission problem, it was electrical and shift solenoid.Although he wasn’t able to help me with my specific problem, he didn’t try to rip me off with unnecessary repairs like art of maintenance did in Northeast Portland , if I ever do have a transmission problem or if I know someone who does 100% I am recommendingJim. It seems like it’s getting harder and harder to find an honest mechanic and and Jim is one of the honest ones.”
“Extremely trustworthy mechanic and he does an amazing job too! I've had multiple experiences with Luis and his team, and they always go above and beyond. Additionally, I took my girlfriend's car to get the brakes replaced and Luis told me the brakes were fine and did not need replacing. I can't tell you the number of shops I've been too where they would just replace it anyway without telling you.
