I stopped by right before closing on a last-minute mission to get a life vest for my dog before a camping trip this weekend. I walked in feeling like THAT customer who walks in right at closing ?, but Tina immediately made me feel welcome. I asked if I could bring my dog in to try on vests, and she said yes but also offered to bring a measuring tape out to the car if he was nervous, such a thoughtful touch.
She took the time to explain the differences between the two vests, asking great questions about our lifestyle and my dog's comfort with water and harnesses to make sure we left with the right fit. Such awesome and patient guidance.
And when I needed an extra hand with questions, Tina brought in Dylan, who was just as warm and helpful. Together, they made sure I left with everything I needed for my trip, no stress at all. Just a team that very much cares about their customers (and their dogs).
Ruffwear in Bend is lovely ☺️. Thank you Tina and Dylan for turning a stressful errand into a pawsitive experience. We'll be ready for the water this weekend because of you!

The Pet Salon of Bend
875 SE 3rd St, BendToday was the first time we used Pet Salon of Bend, and we couldn't be happier. We have searched groomers and their reviews for weeks, and settled on Terri. She has some great pictures on her website and we used a couple of those to show her what we wanted and then Terri asked us some important questions about our little guy - things we never would of thought to ask but were really important. Jack came home smelling great with a perfect cut and most importantly he was happy! Not stressed or upset, he had energy and you could tell he felt so good and pampered. Jack doesn't like getting his legs brushed or groomed, Terri noticed and still did a great job on his legs and feet. He doesn't particularly like to be put into a kennel when he's done either, like his old groomer use to do and when my husband got there to pick him up, he was sound asleep, laying on the floor next to Terri as she groomed another dog! We have absolutely found our new groomer!

1820 Northwest Monterey Pines Drive, BendVRCCO is a great facility. They are very competent and caring with the animals. They took great care of our Luci who needed a hip repair. The surgery and follow consultation with the staff was excellent.
We would recommend VRCCO to anyone that needs veterinary care for their animals.

My previous Vet made very detailed notes, which really aided me in my recent visit for those same issues. I am very pleased with both visits. We are currently trying new possible solutions! Elevate Pet Wellness Center
1350 Southeast Reed Market Road Suite 202, BendI cannot say enough good things about this clinic and their team of doctors (Dr. Casey & Dr. Webb) and Techs (Brittany & Rachel). Our Golden Retriever recently had a medical emergency which required immediate surgery on his tail. Once we explained what was going on, they squeezed us in for a late appointment at the end of the day, and were able to perform his surgery the following day - despite them having a completely full schedule. We are so appreciative of their compassion and care for our little buddy. I wish I could give them 10 stars! They deserve every one of them.

East Bend Animal Hospital

We called and explained the situation and they were incredible and got us in within 2 hours. Front desk staff was so kind and helpful and Rebecca and Dr. Sinnott were AMAZING! Bend Animal Emergency and Specialty Center
1245 Southeast 3rd Street Suite C-3, BendWhen our beloved elderly dog let us know he was ready to be out of pain and couldn't be here for us anymore we reached out to the local social media page for referrals (being new to the area, we weren't established yet).
Through lots of tears and repeating our need for help I called the top six vets and mobile vets that were mentioned by the community through their experiences.
Unfortunately, all six couldn't help us or didn't respond, even another animal hospital.
The call to to Bend Animal Hospital was the grace and help we needed. The receptionist was kind and patient through my breaking on the phone, she went ahead and scheduled us after my son got out of work that day so he could say goodbye to his best friend.
She explained that they would be ready for us and have a room prepped.
We arrived and they showed us right into a room, with calm lighting, lots of resources for kids and adults dealing with grief, gifts for your animal before passing over, and lots of essential tissues.
The staff came in to quickly get eyes on him then proceeded to gently and kindly explain and place his IV and also any side effects that could happen so we were prepared.
They spoke to our dog with kindness and told him how proud they were of him and how strong he was being.
He hadn't eaten in a couple of days at this point so he was pretty weak but he saw and heard them and every step they did so the respect I have for them is immense.
When they left they showed us a button we could press when we had said our goodbyes and were ready to move forward with helping him pass and made it clear that we had all the time we needed.
When we were ready the vet came in and sat on the floor with us, she walked us gently through the process and she was a solid part of our gentle goodbye to our baby.
I know that this was really detailed but I feel like when you lose someone so critical to your life, the process should be respected and gentle to give your grief the space it requires
Thank you for allowing us to give him the departure he deserved after caring for his 6 human siblings and many other rescue animals over his 15 years with us in this planet.
Our family will be forever grateful for everyone of you. Thank you for caring for us and for our boy Blue.

They will also send pictures if you ask them. Our little buddy has come back happy and healthy everytime. A big plus for us is that there are no dogs allowed, our little buddy does not do well with dogs around so he isn't stressed out when he stays. Thanks to the staff you guys make things easy and keep our little buddy happy.

63027 Lower Meadow Dr, BendI have taken my dog through an obedience training course, and now take him to daycare weekly at Dancin’ Woofs. The training course was thorough and approachable, with friendly instructors. My dog loves going to daycare and I feel very confident leaving him there for the day. Unlike many other daycare facilities, they have a protocol for easing your dog into daycare, and assess for temperament and other factors before just sending your dog off into a herd. You can also tell that they just really love dogs here, and enjoy what they do!

Kindred Spirit Pet Care
60742 Bristol Way, BendI couldn't be happier to have found Martina and Kindred Spirit. My corgi gets 1 1/2 hour group hikes daily and gets to hang out with a pack of small dogs. Larger dogs are in a separate section of the yard and house and Neil gives them lots of love and exercise. I love that my corgi can roam around all day and leaps out of the car and races to Martina when I drop her off!

Tim met the dogs (and the handlers!) where they were while ensuring everything ended on a positive note. We appreciated his gentle hand and commend him for offering multiple ways to follow through with a drill for the handler to understand it's goal. I'll be back with my spaniel again, as well as my golden.
