From forgetting a card and letting me settle the bill later, to running laps around the building to search for customers lost items. The service is always great and they always try to get your little one in ASAP. The doctors are very nice and knowledgeable and it means a lot that they seem to try and connect with my pet before putting a thermometer in their bum. I'd expect the same courtesy ?

1255 Northeast 3rd Street, PrinevilleWe came to Hometown Vet in Prineville for a second opinion after our previous veterinarian basically told us that our 14-year-old dog was simply getting old and was “ready to go” because she wasn’t eating.
Thankfully, we decided to seek another opinion. The doctor at Hometown Vet took the time to truly listen to our concerns and went through every single one of her blood work results with us, explaining what they meant. We found out that our sweet girl is in renal failure—something we were never told by our previous vet.
The doctor didn’t dismiss us or make us feel like there was nothing we could do. Instead, they listened, answered all of our questions, and put a plan in place to help keep our girl as comfortable and hydrated as possible.
At 14 years old, she is more than just a dog to us—she is family. Having someone take the time to listen and help us understand what is happening with her means more than I can put into words.
I am incredibly grateful that we came to Hometown Vet for that second opinion. Thank you for treating our girl and our family with compassion, patience, and respect. ❤
